Information:

Location: GCIT Theater
Time: 7pm-9:30pm

Meeting/Rehearsal Dates: March 21st, 22nd, April 5th, 6th, 7th


Show Lineup:
  I.    Opening Video Clip- (rehearsal footage and bloopers/outtake
        recordings) 3-5 minutes???
  II.   Hosts (Shannon & Marquis) enter stage and introduce the show
  III. Candidate Performance- candidates enter onto stage and perform
        (Song: “Forget You” by Cee-lo Green)
  IV. Interviews & Talents (screen drops and shows each individual
        contestant interview- in order by month- and leads into the talent
        portions of the performances)
  V.    Formal Wear (contestants and escorts model formal outfits-
        tuxedos and dresses)
  VI. Pickup Lines (contestants perform their pickup line for their
        escorts- still wearing formal wear)
  VII. Hosts announce intermission
  VIII. Intermission(20-25 minutes)- audience cast ballots and enjoy
        refreshments
  IX. Announcement of Winners (winners of best eyes and mouths will
        be announced by hosts)
  X.    Announcement of Finalists: 6 finalists will be chosen from 12
        contestants (results of audience ballots)
  XI. Judges’ Questions (Judges will draw questions and ask the
        contestant of their choice)
  XII. Finale: Judges enter scores
        a. Hosts announce Runner-up (2nd place)
        b. Hosts announce Mr. GCIT 2011
  XIII. Conclusion (Host thank audience, vendors, crew, advisors, and
        others involved)

Stage:
Costume Changes
Designated representatives will help contestants and hosts change attire and
costume during each segment of the show. Representatives will be in charge
of keeping dressing rooms organized and coordinating costume changes for
the hosts and contestants. (5 representatives needed)

Props
Designated representatives will help organize and move any props that need
to be on/off stage for each segment (5 representatives)



Note: All Stage Crew Members must dress in ALL BLACK, comfortable
attire for the night of the show. This will prevent anyone being seen when
lights are turned off and help in the process of transition between segments
of the show.

Concessions:
Snacks and drinks will be on sale during the entire show. Representatives
will be placed at stations to sell concessions. All money must be kept track
of and accounted for. Representatives may rotate shifts to watch the
concession stand. All money collected must be given to the Student Council
Treasurer after being counted. (4 representatives)

Ticket Sales:
Tickets for Mr. GCIT will be sold the night of the show at the entrance of
the Theatre. Tickets are $5.00. The sales will take place from 6:30pm to
7:15pm (approximately). All money must be collected and given to Student
Council Treasurer. (2 representatives)

Gift Basket Raffle:
Each GCIT Career-Technical Student Organization will be donating a gift
basket to raffle to members of the audience during the show. Raffle tickets
will be sold before the show and during intermission. Designated
representatives will oversee the raffle and all money must be given to
Student Council Treasurer. (2 representatives)

Ballots/Voting
There audience will be voting for several different elements for the show:
Candidates’ Best Eyes
Candidates’ Best Smile
6 Finalists

The voting will take place during the intermission of the show. Three
stations will be set up for the voting.

      Station 1: Best Eyes
      -Table with a tri-fold board displaying pictures of each of the
      candidates’ eyes. A ballot box will be placed at this station, where
      audience members will vote for their favorite eyes (which will be
      numbered 1 through 12) at the station and cast their votes.

      Station 2: Best Smile
      -Table with a tri-fold board displaying pictures of the candidates’
      smiles. Audience members will cast their vote for their choice of best
      smile (also numbered 1-12)

      Station 3: Candidates’ personal ballot boxes
      -Long table will have all 12 candidate ballot boxes on display in order
      by month. Audience members will cast their votes for the candidate
      they wish to win. The top 6 candidates with the most votes will be
      announced during the show.

All ballots must be counted immediately after submission so that results may
be announced during the show. Results will be tallied and given to the
Student Council Secretary to give to the hosts. (6 representatives)
