Coed, day camp for ages 5-14
With exciting day camps and travel camps, short-term sleep away, specialty camps and
camps for children with developmental disabilities, the 92nd Street Y has a program
tailor-made for your child’s interests and needs. Children grades K through 9 can enjoy
programs that help develop their imaginations and individual abilities while enhancing
their self-esteem. Most campers travel to Rockland County daily on air-conditioned
coach buses to participate in 2 daily swims, sports, specialized arts, nature, ropes
course, and more.

Since 1955 CAMP YOMI (entering kindergarten-4th grade) has been providing a
memorable camp experience in a rustic woodland setting in Rockland County (just 20
minutes from the George Washington Bridge). Older campers move from Yomi into
CAMP HAVERIM (entering 5th & 6th). Both camps offer sports, specialized arts, ceramics,
2 daily swims, climbing tower/ ropes course, digital photo and video, tennis, special
theme days, visiting artists, cookouts, overnights and trips for older campers, and so
much more! Campers leave with a sense of accomplishment, new friends, new skills
and memories that keep them coming back year after year! We also offer 6-week
specialty camps for art (CAMP YAFFA, ages 8-11) or science and nature (CAMP
TEVAH, ages 8-11), and weeklong intensives in baseball, basketball, soccer, and
filmmaking. In addition, TRAILBLAZERS (entering 7th-9th grades) combines daily
excursions with a 4-day trip each session. Campers experience a wide range of exciting
and challenging adventures including white water rafting, amusement parks and more!

CAMP KESHER (entering 3rd-6th grade) is our unique program providing first time sleep
away campers the perfect opportunity to "get their feet wet" and test their independence.
Campers participate in a full range of camp activities at the New Jersey Y Camps in
Milford, PA and transition from day to sleep away camp with warm, nurturing staff.

Finally, CAMP TOVA (ages 6-13) and CAMP BARI TOV (ages 5-13) serve children with
various developmental disabilities. We provide children with an exciting camp
experience within a nurturing and supportive environment. Each day our campers are
transported by comfortable, air-conditioned buses, to and from our campgrounds in
Rockland County. They participate in a variety of camp activities, especially designed to
foster each child’s emotional, social, and physical growth. Our counselors and
specialists have a strong background in special education and are committed to
providing each child with a positive and rewarding summer experience. Our small
camper to staff ratio ensures that each camper receives individualized attention.

Coed, day camp with bus service and weekly excursions for ages 4-12
Asphalt Green Summer Day Camp 2009 runs from June 29th to August 14th. We offer
four different sessions of varying lengths to accommodate busy summer schedules.
Camp hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Pre-camp service beginning
at 7:30am and after-camp service running until 6:30pm are available each day for an
additional fee. We also offer round-trip and one-way bus service throughout Manhattan
for an additional fee.

Campers 4-12 years old participate in a variety of activities, including swim instruction,
soccer, basketball, gymnastics, martial arts, baseball and softball, dance, yoga, arts and
crafts, and music. Campers also take a fun weekly field trip.

Asphalt Green’s Summer Day Camp draws children from all five boroughs (as well as a
few from Westchester) who are looking for a camp that is fun and active. Rather than
focusing on a specific sport or activity, they are drawn to the variety of experiences our
camp has to offer. These are children who are open to new things and want to actively
participate in camp activities. Some are athletic by nature or choice, but all of them
share a similar sense of adventure.

                                            - - 2

Asphalt Green offers a camp experience that helps children improve their minds while
actively improving their bodies. Many camps provide physical activity as part of their
program, but we take a more comprehensive and in-depth approach. We deliver age-
appropriate activities designed to foster an appreciation of the benefits of both active
lifestyles and cooperative play. This includes the development of sports-specific skills,
sportsmanship, respect for others, independence, self-esteem, self-discipline, and a
competitive spirit. Our goal is to engage the children in life-long habits that will lead to a
healthier lifestyle while teaching them how to strive for success in a fair and cooperative
manner.

Camp Winaukee is a private residential boys' camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in the White
Mountains of New Hampshire. Founded in 1920, Winaukee enjoys a reputation as one
of the premier sports and adventure camps in America.

Winaukee has two campuses. The Mainland Camp has approximately 230 campers
ages 7-12. The Island Camp, located on a private island just off the Mainland, has
approximately 140 campers ages 13-15. Winaukee's two separate facilities offer all of
our campers the intimacy of a small camp setting with the breadth and diversity of
programming of a larger camp.

Winaukee is more than a premium boys' sports camp. It is more than a spectacular
location on Lake Winnipesaukee. It is a culture of good values that is passed down from
generation to generation.. These values are instilled in Winaukee campers through a
sports and adventure program and unique traditions that have been at the heart of
Winaukee's 87 year history. Winaukee campers feel that they are part of something
special, meaningful and bigger than themselves. It was not surprising to hear another
camper's spontaneous expression: "Winaukee is in my soul."
