Zeutschel book copier zeta makes its debut at the CeBIT
The new type of scanning
Still making copies or scanning already?
Zeutschel zeta is the digital central copy station of the future for books and
documents of all kinds. Practice oriented scan functions allow faster work
with safe results and without bad copies. The digital book copier can be
used out-of-the-box and is operated with the integrated intuitive touch
screen. Data is output on paper or for further processing with digital format
on USB stick and Internet. This reduces paper consumption which spares
the environment just like the low power usage. The compact shapely design
of the book copier is unique. Zeutschel ‘Zeta' is available as of autumn 2011.
Tübingen, January 2011 – "Two reasons have previously prevented widespread
use of book copiers: device size and price. We will change that with the Zeutschel
zeta," Jörg Vogler, Managing Director at Zeutschel GmbH, promises.
Zeutschel zeta with its scan size of nearly A2 is currently the smallest book copier
on the market. And the price of the new Zeutschel model will be about half of the
current Zeutschel book copier OS 12000.
Its characteristics make it the ideal solution for all users who have to scan or copy
books, files, ring binders or stapled originals efficiently. These include libraries,
universities and archives but also authorities and copy shops as well as the entire
office environment of e.g. banks and insurance companies as well as solicitor's
office and ad agencies.
Unique control concept
Gone are the days of laborious and time-consuming copying. The book is placed
on its back in the Zeutschel zeta and is scanned from the top so users can
conveniently turn over pages for the next copy.
The unique control concept of the new Zeutschel book copier includes a touch
screen. It ensures very easy operation together with the preinstalled software.
Users do not have to worry about aligning heavy magazine issues neatly with the
edge of the copier. Zeutschel’s software automatically aligns crooked originals.
The program controlled book fold rectification is very handy; troublesome
compression of letters in the middle of the open book or document is thing of the
past. The scan preview on the touch screen also eliminates bad copies and paper
Plug-n-play functions of the Zeutschel book copier facilitate installation. Insert the
mains plug, press the power-on switch and off you go.
Attractive design and versions
The compact and smart design of the Zeutschel zeta is setting new design
standards in its category. The matt black interior and aluminium coloured exterior
of the device ensure an elegant, timeless look.
The Zeutschel book copier is available as a colour system with three different
designs: without book carriage, with comfort book carriage and with a large book
carriage for demanding scan projects.
„The Zeutschel zeta introduced at the CeBIT heralds the start of a new copying
age. It has never been so easy and cost-effective to use the added value of book
scanning for copying as well. Once again, Zeutschel stays true to its claim of being
a trend-setter." explains Jörg Vogler.
