Dt.: 07/12/2011 PERSON INVOLVED IN BROAD DAY LIGHT SENSATIONAL KIDNAPPING FOR RANSOM CASE OF P.S. INDIRAPURAM, GHAZIABAD NABBED A team of officers of Crime Branch led by Inspr. Manoj Pant and consisting of ASI Rajveer Singh,HC Pawan, ct Rambir, Ct. Manoj Kumar and Ct. Ravinder under supervision of ACP Bir Singh have apprehended a wanted criminal involved in a case of kidnapping of PS Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, UP. Information was received on 05/12/2011 that a person wanted in a case of kidnapping for ransom of PS Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, UP would come near Mayur Vihar Metro Station, Delhi. On specific information a trap was laid and a person was apprehended. He was identified as Sumit (aged 22 years) s/o Sukhbir r/o Vill. Ristal, PS Loni ,Ghaziabad ,UP. He is wanted in a broad day kidnapping case of PS Indira Puram, Ghaziabad,Uttar Pradesh. Sumit was subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that he was in dire need of money as he could not bear his daily expenses. He organized a gang for committing the crime. On 29/09/2011 he alongwith his associates snatched a four year child from the lap of his Grand Mother when she was taking him back from his school in broad day light. On this a case of kidnapping was registered at PS Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, UP. Later on the associates of Sumit were apprehended and the child was safely rescued from the clutches of the kidnappers but the main conspirator Sumit was evading his arrest. It was further revealed that the father of the child was working in an Auto-Mobile company and a relative of Sumit was also working in the same company. He gathered information about the financial status of the complainant from his relative and shared his intention to kidnap the child alongwith his associates as all of them wanted to earn quick money. Sumit is a main conspirator and played active role in the kidnapping. He not only hatched the plan of kidnapping but also used his motorcycle in the kidnapping. Dt.:07/12/2011 480 QUARTERS OF WHISKY BRAND “BESTO” (TEN CARTONS) RECOVERED. 500 QUARTERS OF COUNTRY MADE LIQUOR BRAND “NARANGI MASALE” DAR (TEN CARTONS) RECOVERED. 240 BOTTLES OF COIUNTRY MADE LIQUOR MAKE NARANGI MASALE DAR (TWENTY CARTONS) RECOVERED. THE WHISKY AND COUNTRY MADE LIQUOR WERE MEANT FOR SALE ONLY IN HARYANA AND WERE BEING SMUGGLED INTO DELHI. ONE MARUTI CAR USED FOR TRANSPORTATION SEIZED. A team of officers of Crime Branch led by Inspr. Jai Bhagwan and consisting of SI Karamvir Singh, ASI Rajpal, HC Brahm Pal, HC Upender, HC Azad and Ct Jagat Nagar under the supervision of ACP Bir Singh have arrested a person and have recovered 40 cartons of whisky and country made liquor containing 480 quarters of whisky of brand “Besto”, 500 quarters of country made liquor of brand “Narangi Masale” and 240 bottles of country made liquor of brand “Narangi Masale” from a Maruti car. The Maruti car has also been seized. Information was received on 06/12/2011 that a person involved in supplying of illegal liquor in Delhi would come from Haryana at Wazirabad Road, Bhajan Pura, Delhi in a Maruti Car. On this information a trap was laid and a maruti car was intercepted. A person was apprehended. He was identified as Sunil Dhaka (aged 24) s/o Kalu Ram r/o Vill. Dhikoli, Distt. Bagpat, U.P. The car was found loaded with 40 cartons of illegal liquor meant “for sale in Haryana”. These 40 cartons contained 480 quarters of whisky of brand “Besto”, 500 quarters of country made liquor of brand “Narangi Masale” and 240 bottles of country made liquor of brand “Narangi Masale”. The maruti car used for transportation of illegal whisky has been seized. A case under the appropriate sections of Excise Act has been registered. Sunil Dhaka was subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that he worked in a company on a meagre income which was not sufficient to meet the financial needs of his family. So in order to earn quick money he started supplying illegal liquor in the area of Nand Nagari, Delhi for the last six months by transporting the same from Haryana in his Maruti car. He earned Approx Rs. 150/- per carton through this illegal trade as the actual cost of liquor in Haryana is lower than that of Delhi. FIR no. 514/11 u/s 420/468/471/34 IPC PS M.Puri Exhibiting brilliant investigating skills, and professional competence, the Outer District police comprising of staff of P.S. Mangolpuri achieved a major success by arresting one cheater cum auto lifter namely Rajiv @ Hukam Singh @ Dimpy s/o Surender Pal r/o B-4/124 Sultanpuri Delhi age 21 yrs and recovered cheated money amounting to Rs. 2000/ and fake identity card of NDPL. BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENTS: 1. On 05/12/11 SI Sukhi Ram along with Ct. Ashok No. 1249/OD were on patrolling duty. At about 3 PM they reached at Kala Mandir road Mangol Puri Delhi where one person namely Pardeep Bharti S/o Ramshwar R/o H-672 Mangol Puri, Delhi met them. Sh. Pardeep Bharti recorded his statement that “on 03/12/11 at about 6 PM three persons came to his house and stated that they are NDPL employee and that he has broken his electricity meter seal, if he want to settle, he has to pay 30,000/- rupee otherwise electricity theft case will be registered against him”. They also threatened Sh Pardeep Bharti to extort money. On 5/12/11, accused Rajiv called Pradeep Bharti at Kala Mandir to pay Rs. 2000/- for settlement. Sh Pardeep Bharti along with NDPL staff namely Sh. Satish Yadav caught this person namely Rajiv @ Hukam Singh @ Dimpy @ S/O Surender Pal R/O B-4/124 Sultanpuri Delhi age 21 yrs with two thousand rupees and fake NDPL card. On the statement of Pradeep Bharti a case vide FIR No. 512/11 u/s 420/384/411/468/471 IPC was got registered and investigation was taken up by SI Sukhi Ram. 2. One another case of cheating against accused Rajiv came into notice that on 26/9/11, two persons came into the house of Keshav Kumdra S/o Ashwani Kumar R/o 21 Vidya Vihar West Enclave Pitam Pura Delhi and told that his cheque towards payment of electricity bill has been bounced and hence they came to disconnect their electricity connection. But after some time they turned into compromise position and convinced Shri keshav kundra to pay them in cash to pay his electricity bill as they are working in NDPL and deposit the amount in cash though it is learnt that NDPL do not accept electricity bill in cash if amount exceeds 4000/-. Accordingly Shri Keshav Kundra gave them Rs. 11,330/- in lieu of his electricity bill. They also had given him fake receipt of bill and fake id card copy. During interrogation accused revealed that he was working in NDPL on short term contract basis and thus knows the working system of NDPL and also in possession of expired Id- Card. On sustained interrogation the accused also disclosed of his involvement in a number of cases of Motor Vehicle theft as well as accessory theft. He used to steal vehicles for joy ride and used to abandon the vehicle at secluded places in remote areas. He also used to steal accessory such as stereo, ECM, etc and used to sell them for quick money. Profile of Accused. 1. Mangolpuri achieved a major success by arresting auto lifter namely (1) Parmod @ Sonu s/o Sohanbir r/o D-202, Mangol Puri, Delhi (who is a BC of P.S. Mangolpuri and running absent from his house since last 5 months) and recovered two stolen motorcycles from him. BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENT: On 06/12/11 HC Ram Singh No. 483/OD, Ct. Vinod No. 1590/OD, Ct. Parveen No. 2212/OD and Ct. Ampit No. 1302/OD, were present on Kam Dhenu Picket for vehicle checking. At about 9 pm one person coming towards the picket on motorcycle no. DL-4S-BT-3916 and when he was waved to stop the vehicle he tried to turn back and flee from the spot, but was caught by the alert staff present on the picket. When he was asked to show the papers of the motorcycle he hesitated and later on it was revealed that the motorcycle was stolen from the area of PS Aman Vihar vide FIR No. 343/11. During sustained interrogation the accused disclosed about his involvement in a number of auto thefts and one more motorcycle was recovered on his instance which was stolen by him from the area of PS South Rohini. The accused is also a BC of PS Mangol Puri and was running absent from his house since last 5/6 months. He previously involved in a number of auto theft cases.
