                                       IHN UPDATE

Our next host week starts on Nov. 27th. The schedule for 2012 is still being finalized, but will
be available soon. Many guests have come and gone during this year, with many success
stories throughout the network. Please continue to pray for the Williams family who are still
in the network and the Demski family who moved to Missouri to be with relatives.

Please keep in mind that if you have any kind of furniture that you want to give away, or
household goods, please contact the IHN Director to arrange a pick-up of items, Laura
Vincenti at lauravincentiihn@gmail.com. Three of the host churches in the network are
currently providing space to store items to be given to families who meet their goals and
move out of the network into new homes.

During our next host week, we have Westminster Church, the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl
Scouts and the Beta Sigma Phi-Xi Zeta Tau Chapter hosting the dinners. So we are blessedly
good for dinner hosts this time, but we are always looking for drivers (we only have two) and
overnight hosts, so please let me know if you are interested in helping.

I hope that everyone will join me in giving Bonnie Opsal a great big “Thank You!!!” for all
of her years of helping coordinate this program. She has worn almost every hat associated
with this mission, but has recently decided not to be a coordinator anymore, though she will
still be available to fill some volunteer slots from time to time. Thank you, Bonnie, this
church would not have been able to host this long without you!!

This means that I am also looking for a co-coordinator in addition to more volunteers. Please
talk to me if you are interested in helping in any way during our host weeks. You don’t have
to volunteer every time; we will take whatever time you have to give.
