                                        23rd Annual Charge Conference forms available online

                                        superintendent’s annual charge conference directions.
         Save the date: Monday, Nov. 15th for our Clergy Day Apart
                      Online registration will be available beginning in September.

Bishop Timothy Whitaker and the Clergy Excellence Team invite all active clergy to come and
join us in a day focused on connecting with God and one another. The day will include
worship, breakout sessions, Q&A with the Bishop, lunch and unstructured free time.

Check-in and refreshments will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the event will be from 10:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m., with lunch available at the Life Enrichment Center or off-site.

Asbury Seminary’s Florida Dunham campus hosts Doctor of Ministry Open House
    Asbury Theological Seminary is hosting an Open House for persons interested in pursuing a Doctor
    of Ministry degree in Transformational Innovation. Event is the evening of August 19, 2010 on the
    campus in Orlando. The Open House offers opportunities for guests to meet with faculty, program
    directors, and admissions staff. The event is free, and a meal will be served.

The purpose of e-Learning, the Florida Conference Online Learning ministry, is to give
opportunities for leaders in local congregations to gain information and knowledge in this

together? To help you “jump start” your planning, please print and complete the Quick Resource Survey
for your church. We will add this information to our database so that WHEN disaster comes, we’ll have

How to Assemble a Disaster Supply Kit (click and follow to link)
You may need to survive on your own after a disaster. This means having your own food, water, and
other supplies in sufficient quantity to last for at least three days. Local officials and relief workers will
be on the scene after a disaster, but they cannot reach everyone immediately. You could get help in
hours, or it might take days. Check out how to assemble your own disaster supply kit.
