Job Title - Health Adviser
Job Purpose - To deliver a range of Bupa health assessment products to the public in
accordance with Bupa Wellness policies and procedures.
Contribution
Deliver Health assessments to high quality clinical standards
Offer an outstanding customer service

Accountabilities Performance Measures
Clinical Quality
Carry out Bupa health screening tests in RTF Quality Assessment
accordance with Wellness policies and Client feedback
protocols
Quality Audit
Dispose of all waste - clinical and sharps - in
accordance with Wellness policies and
procedures
Adhere to and demonstrate an up to date
knowledge of Bupa Wellness policies and
procedures
Lifestyle Advice/Health Promotion
Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in Advice to clients in consult
accordance with BUPA’s current clinical reports
policies Client feedback
Give individual lifestyle advice appropriate to RTF Quality Assessment
client needs with reference to their medical
history and screening assessment findings
Customer Service
Offer an outstanding customer service: Customer satisfaction survey
Be professional and courteous results
Keep the customer informed – explain Colleague/manager feedback
screening procedures and tests fully
Client feedback
Listen and show empathy
Ensure their questions and queries are fully
answered (possibly by the doctor)
Financial Responsibilities
Monitor unit supplies minimising waste and Policy awareness
ensuring stock availability.
Cost awareness
Work within the corporate purchasing policy.

Specimen Handling and Testing
Follow Wellness policy for the collection and
testing of client specimens on site Audit
Ensure accurate recording of all specimens
and follow guidelines on correct storage and
transportation (PO/courier/laboratory) where
this is required
Planning and Organisation
Plan and prioritise work according to the needs Appointments schedule achieved
of the appointments schedule Client feedback
Maintain the smooth flow of clients through the Colleague feedback
centre
Liase with sessional doctors and other team
members, to manage the clients’ screening
process
Demonstrate a flexible, responsive approach
when priorities change at short notice
Equipment
Safe and effective use of all equipment Audit
Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced Colleague Feedback
and calibrated in accordance with quality
standards
Prepare equipment prior to each screening
session and leave in a clean, tidy and safe
condition after use
Business promotion
Have an excellent knowledge of all current and Product knowledge
potential health screening products.
Successful participation in
