The existing building is split into CONSTRUCTION BUDGET* three “Towers,” or sections, that will be broken out into three separate bid packages. This Total = $22,000,000 building will replace damaged elements from the flood, as well as completely renovate and BID PACKAGES* Phase I (2nd Ave Tower) - General Contractor restore the 1st Avenue tower back to it’s original design intent. This project will include Budget* = $7,000,000 Bid Advertisement Date* = May 2011 restoration of the existing auditorium, a community/ballroom, a café, museum space, Phase II (1st Ave Tower) – General Contract conference centers, meeting rooms, office space, storage space, a fitness center, new Budget* = $8,000,000 Bid Advertisement Date* = June 2011 mechanical/electrical systems and elevators. The Veterans Memorial Building is the heart Phase III (Auditorium) - General Contractor of the city and will be a gathering place for veterans and all members of the community. Budget* = $7,000,000 Bid Advertisement Date* = December 2011 Major systems in this facility include: PROJECT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FEMA Funding – Reporting Required • New mechanical, electrical, and fire sprinkler systems.
