I could give you list of things I have done, but to make my point succinctly, let me just point out for major accomplishments in my working life; then you can decide if we should talk further: FOUR M AJOR L IFETIME ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Electronic Warfare doctrine in the Amphibious Operating Area - 1984. Developed doctrine for USMC amphibious operations to enable control of electromagnetic spectrum during opposed amphibious landing. My team selected and tested equipment, and wrote all training and operations doctrinal material. This doctrine is now standard in the USMC. Supervised 5 personnel. 2. Acucobol World Wide Web delivery of sales support material - 1993. Password and SSL protected area of Acucobol web site, developed by my team, provided all sales material (brochures, data sheets, slide shows, etc.) to National and International sales force. Supervised 3 personnel. 3. SAN for General Dynamics - 1996.This project resulted in a backup & restore product that could backup & restore all server platforms (Unix/NT/Novell) regardless of content, from a centralized system, at any time. This effort required coordination with multiple vendors, disparate system managers for multiple platforms, in addition to careful management of client expectations. I ensured on-time and on-budget delivery of all tasks. The project was a pioneering implementation of a large-scale Storage Area Network (SAN) concept, a first at the time. Supervised 13 personnel. 4. Founded Social Sector Service Delivery - 2006. S3D is a consulting group which is dedicated specifically to Social Sector (non-profit and NGO) consulting by applying Business Process Reengineering discipline to Social Sector activities and projects. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY 2000 – Present INTEGRATED COMPUTER RESOURCES Consultant
Technology Advisor East Seventh Street Kids Center – Designed and implemented network and desktop documentation, asset, configuration management processes and Office 2003 and Sharepoint integrated collaborative systems. Center employees now are requested to use a web/email based Service Request Form for more complex issues concerning IT service delivery. As an adjunct to this activity, all PC’s and the network itself were fully audited and documented, including an interactive map of the network and network devices. I reconfigured and prepped various donated desktop computers, in accordance to the service delivery framework I instituted, including Intel, Apple Macintosh machine with Linux, Windows and OS 9 and X Operating Systems. Technology Advisor Jananarama PhotoWorks – Envisioned, planned deployed, documented and managed digital darkroom services.

This project resulted in a backup & restore product that could backup & restore all server platforms (Unix/NT/Novell) regardless of content, from a centralized system. This effort required coordination with multiple vendors, disparate system managers for multiple platforms, in addition to careful management of client expectations. I planned and supervised all activities throughout the entire life cycle of this project from conceptual design through implementation and on-going support. I ensured on-time and on-budget delivery of all tasks. This effort was integral to the GDE Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan. The project was completed to the very successful testing phase, and was a pioneering implementation of the Storage Area Network (SAN) concept. Supervised 13 personnel. SAP for Control Instruments In the summer of 1997, my team implemented new Enterprise Resource Planning systems and techniques for Control Instruments Corporation, based on SAP R/3 and CSC Catalyst methodology. I planned and supervised all activities throughout the entire life cycle of this project from conceptual design through implementation and on-going support. I ensured on-time and on-budget delivery of all tasks. A few examples of improvements in the hard numbers: Inventory has been reduced by 50% in dollars and in floor space in the first year. Currently dollars are at 25% of what they were if we exclude obsolete and slow moving parts (Some of the Legacy left to us by the Legacy Systems) and floor space has been reduced by 75%. Inventory turns doubled from 2 to 4 in the first year. Productivity increased about 50% in terms of Sales ($’s) per Employee. Delivery performance has increased from 70% to 90% on time to promise. Supervised 22 personnel. Red Team IT Assessment for Dupont Provided comprehensive analysis of operational processes for help desk, electronic mail, project management and performance measures, in a pre-contract context. I planned and supervised all activities concerning these issues, from conceptual design through implementation and on-going support. I ensured on-time and on-budget delivery of all tasks. Accurate and meaningful project status reports were published to management on a scheduled basis. Recommendations accepted by Dupont’s General Information Utility included: Developing SLA’s and response metrics for all help desk services Review metrics with DecisionOne (move/add/change vendor). Measure trouble ticket reworks Implement quality assessment (SQA) programs for all metrics. Consolidated Dupont email system for the North American utility from 7 disparate systems to Microsoft Exchange. Impact: 218,000 seats. Supervised 8 personnel. Y2K Project for GDE Systems Y2K inventory/Asset management checks - managed these activities for all platform leads. Y2K Ready plans - coordinated submission of all platform & application plans for making these items Y2K ready. Y2K project plans integration - integrated ready plans into unified project framework Project Manager, GDE Systems Intranet Completely re-engineered the GDE Systems Intranet, along the lines of the Full Service Intranet concept I developed. Knowledge Management objectives for this project (document management, data mining back-end, sophisticated index and search) was paramount in this implementation. Plans have been executed to re-engineer GDE Internet and extranet activities Supervised 4 personnel. Baker & Taylor MS Exchange migration proposal - Baker & Taylor Books initiated a New Service work order, requesting a proposal from CSC to support implementation of a Microsoft Exchange mail system, which I wrote. This proposal describes how CSC intends to support the Microsoft Exchange mail system, including the

ACUCOBOL
ASSOCIATE MIS DIRECTOR As the System Architect, Internet Services and Help Desk Manager for internal users at Acucobol, I planned and implemented Internet access and usage for 200 internal users, employing World Wide Web, FTP, and POP/SMTP mail services. I planned and supervised all activities throughout the entire life cycle of this project from conceptual design through implementation and on-going support. I ensured on-time and on-budget delivery of all tasks. I also developed detailed project definitions and tasks estimates. MS Project project management tracking tools were used to track project progress and to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Accurate and meaningful project status reports were published to management on a scheduled basis. I also developed a company-wide Intranet using PDF as the standard format for disseminating sales materials. Later, migrated this approach to Acucobol corporate web server. While migrating the facility from a serial line configuration to an integrated TCP/IP LAN, I supervised 4 personnel.
