Volunteer Fund Raiser Needed for Chagpori.
Volunteer fund raiser is required by Chagpori Tibetan Medical Institute to raise funds for the
pharmacy and college project in India.

The main aim and objective of Chagpori is to preserve and promote the science of traditional
Tibetan medicine (Sowa Rigpa). Chagpori is offering the study of Tibetan medicine since 1992.
The duration of the course is five years plus one year internship. During the first five years the
students will study the theory of Tibetan Medicine and also assist the doctor during patient
consultations for the local population. We give subsidized or free medicines to the needy
patients regularly. Most of the students are provided free education for the entire six years'
course including food and hostel facilities. Till now forty doctors have graduated and there are
currently eighteen students enrolled.
