944 MAGAZINE CELEBRATES FIVE YEARS IN SAN DIEGO WITH THREE-DAY BASH
DURING LABOR DAY WEEKEND
Exclusive Event to Take Over The Ivy Hotel With Special Performances by J*DaVeY, DJ AM and Jazzy Jeff
WHAT: 944 San Diego is turning 5ive and blowing out its candles with three days of
entertainment at one of the city’s most exclusive boutique hotels over Labor Day
weekend. Presented by Snow Queen Vodka, the bash will kick-off on Friday with a
sunset cocktail reception in honor of 944’s 2008 Platinum Awards winners.
Saturday will welcome daytime party-goers for a Rock the Vote poolside concert
featuring emerging Los Angeles-based electro artist, J*DaVeY. Other weekend
entertainment to include DJ OB-One, DJ Cubiche, Jazzy Jeff, DJ AM, Big Syphe,
Eric D-Luxe, Ross One and Ravi Drums. A double-header charity Wii tournament to
benefit the American Heart Association, and a private dinner at Quarter Kitchen
prepared by Executive Chef Damon Gordon, will take place both Saturday and
Sunday.
J.Overell’s signature lifestyle event, Glam Slam, will wrap up the weekend on Sunday
night with a special performance by Glass Candy and local band, The Sess.
