ASSIGNMENT #11--A MENU
Attached you will find a letter written by Joe Frillio, owner of
Frillio's Pizza and a menu from his restaurant. Notice the menu
is lacking graphic content and appeal. Your task is to redesign
the menu.
1. You should plan a rough draft layout of the redesigned menu on
paper
2. Submit your rough draft to me for approval
3. Consider the following:
a. Using Publisher, what publication type should you choose:
Full page, ½ page, catalog, menu, etc.
b. page setup-landscape or portrait
c. Should the menu be one-sided or two, etc?
d. Color choices: Italian food?
e. Clip art? Italian food? Pizza? Family restaurant?
4. You may not change prices or add any additional food items to
the menu
5. 100 POINTS
6. Remember you were hired to make the menu look better, and to
help Frillio’s pizza sell more pizza.

Dear Graphic Designer:
My name is Joe Frillio. I am the owner of Frillio's Pizza.
I am requesting that you please provide me with a new menu.
I have limited computer knowledge. Up to this point, I
have used only a basic word processor to develop my
restaurants menu. I have provided you with what we offer,
as well as the prices charged for each.
I have heard wonderful things about your graphic design
skills and would like to hire you to produce a new menu for
my business. Please feel free to add additional dialogue
to improve the appearance, image and quality of my business
and the food we sell, (i.e.) eye-catching adjectives,
things that appeal to the sense of smell, taste, touch,
etc.
