New Case Manager for the Santa Barbara Office

CASA would like to welcome the newest member of our team. Sara Rowland will be replacing Julie Woolfolk as
Case Manager. We are very pleased to have her; she will be a great asset to the CASA program.

Sara Rowland, a third generation Santa Barbaran, brings experience and education in Sociology, peer counseling,
and volunteer coordination to her role as Case Manager with CASA. Sara attended local schools including SBHS,
SBCC, and UCSB, receiving her bachelor's degree with honors in Sociology from the University of California at
Over the last four years, Sara has worked locally as Grants Manager for CALM, (Child Abuse Listening and Media-
tion), supporting their efforts to prevent and treat child abuse. Sara is deeply committed to the mission and goals of
CASA, and looks forward to supporting CASA's in their incredibly important role advocating for children and teens
in need.
One of our loyal SB CASA supporters, Seth Streeter, has taken on the challenge of complet-
ing an Ironman Triathlon alongside our executive director Ernesto Paredes on June 29, 2003
in Coer d' Alene, Idaho. As much as this Ironman is a goal of Seth's he has chosen to swim,
bike, and run the 140+ miles with others in mind. Seth's goal, through the Ironman, is to
raise a minimum of $5,000. which will go directly to SB CASA and the children we serve.
In order to help with his fundraising effort, he has established a link to his website which is
secure, fast and easy to use. At the website you will be able to choose an amount to donate
and receive an email confirmation of your tax-deductible donation. He will also be notified
via email as soon as you make your donation.
Thank you so much!
