VOLUNTEERS WRAP is always in need of Volunteers. Training will be provided and being a volunteer
for WRAP includes: sexual assault, crisis line, shelter services, office assistance, domestic violence, hos-
pital advocate, court advocate and children’s advocate. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer,
please call (731) 668-0411 or stop in at the Jackson Office and ask for an application.
This year, the agency recognized for the first time, WRAP’s Women of Empowerment. This new award is to
celebrate women who are empowered and have been and continue to be mentors to other women. These
women have been active in their communities in different ways for years, and have been perseverant in
reaching their goals and we applaud all of their contributions. These women are: Jacque Hillman, Mary Jo
Middlebrooks, Shirlene Mercer, Linda Rizzuto and Debbie Stanfill.

Candlelight Vigil - October 13th

Thank you to everyone that came out and support WRAP at the Candlelight Vigil for victims and survivors of
domestic violence at the Madison County Courthouse lawn. Special thanks to: All survivors, Tigrett Middle
School Gospel Choir, Mayor Jimmy Harris, Captain Mike Holt, Mallory White, Yolanda Spaulding and South
Side High School Concert Choir.
 Domestic Violence Lucheon - October 20th
 The Domestic Violence Luncheon was a huge success this year with a little over 100 people attending. This
 year’s luncheon was held at Premier Place and was sponsored by The Madison County Task Force Against
 Domestic Violence and WRAP. Special thanks to the wonderful guest speakers: Elizabeth Edmondson - Pro-
 gram Manager for the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, Deborah Davis Williamson -
 LMSW, Homicide Response Counselor, Mike - who is a long time survivor of domestic violence and Rev. Attor-
 ney Robin Harris Kimbrough with the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence.
