Count Stacks Entertainment is headed by two extremely inspired and motivated

Count Stacks Entertainment is to present profitable and commercial-ready projects to the
attention of label executives and A&R personnel. In accomplishing this goal, we also
seek to maintain creative control of the ideas and ideals of the artists and Count Stacks
Entertainment’s management, always giving every consideration to project collaborators
and participants.
Highly talented artist, YUNG LEX, is the first release from the label. This release will
open doors for a movement that has not been seen since the evolution of Houston’s early
rap artists. Originally from Mississippi, Yung Lex has been dubbed as the “KING OF
MISSISSIPPI”, sanctioned by his display of professionalism and consistency using his
verbal attacks on beats. His extraordinary ability to imprint his style has the state of
Mississippi anticipating a national release. Yung Lex’s talents has given birth to and
branded DJ Pressures’ “Hood Certified” mixed-tapes series. Several other artists have
been featured on many of his tracks and he is developing a movement that resembles that
of a’ la T.I and DJ Drama’s tandem.
Count Stacks Entertainment seeks a joint venture with a progressive label that is willing
to aggressively, effectively and most efficiently promote, market, and distribute Count
Stacks Entertainment’s projects. Although the south has its share of successful rap artists,
the fans are always hungry for new, raw and exciting talent. Yung Lex has his own genre
of southern hip-hop. His musical style captures the ears of older listeners, as well as,
provides the young d-boys with some authentic gangsta music to grind to.
Mississippi’s own King, is a hustle and flow connoisseur, who got started at a very early
age, on the streets. In 1989, after his parents divorced, Lex turned to the streets to be his
father figure. He ran with the Black Disciples gang, a descendent of Gangsta Disciples,
and the Hoover Crips. Lex’s mother did her best to take care of their household by
working two jobs and being a faithful child of God. His mom is his pride and joy, and to
him she is the purest thing known to man. She gave the youngster the inspiration and true
grasp of his conscious. He has always possessed a fascination with the flow game from as
young as the age of eight, when he first heard the Chronic which was Dr. Dre’s Death
Row debut. After absorbing and filtering some of the topics that Snoop and Dre shared in
their music, and then actually being a living witness to similar situations, firsthand, Lex
found it necessary to put his life to music. From day one, Lex had the ability to capture
the spotlight and verbally abuse any beat. Along with his unique swagger and confidence,
he will definitely make a well respected impact in the game today. Plus, he’s “easy on the
eyes” and has sensual and seductive mass appeal. He is currently working on his debut
album entitled, “History in the Making”.
