This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Confirmation (Ocean) Transaction Set (301) for use within the
context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to provide all the information necessary for an ocean carrier to
confirm space, container, and equipment availability in response to the Reservation (Booking Request) (Ocean) Transaction Set (300); or to notify other parties
such as terminal operators or other ocean carriers.
