1995 - 2008 Park Hospitality - Managing Director and Owner
Formed international management company to manage independent hotels and resorts with extensive
restaurants worldwide. Company grew from one hotel in Haiti to eight hotels at present Responsibility included
management of each hotel until operation was profitable and could be handled by a hired GM. I managed hotels
from 65 rooms to 750 rooms successful, due to my ability to be directly involved in the operation with the
teams. I respected ideas forwarded from the team and implemented them when seemed successful. Each hotel
in a different country developed its own set of problems and priorities. Each hotel had to be approached
differently but overall my direct involvement in the operations earned me the respect of the employees and
allowed me to create new standards for the property. The company was closed and name sold in December
2008 after 12+ years, because I could not collect contractual agreed on incentive fee from the international
1994 - 1995 WindStar Cruises - Hotel Manager
Directed all activities of 78 cabin, luxury sailing cruise ship on cruises of 1 week to 4 weeks around the world.
Responsible for all on and off-shore activities of the 160 passengers and 200 person’s crew.
1991 - 1994 Renaissance Hotels Pakistan and Goa - Vice President Operations
Successfully repositioned four business hotels in Pakistan to become the occupancy leader in their respective
community. Extended great F&B operations attracted local and traveling clientele. Extensive Banquet business
with weddings. Opened and managed successful 220 room resort in Goa.
1988 - 1991 Camberley Hotels - Vice President Operations & Partner
Entered into partnership to open manage, own and/or assist in Marketing and development of small historic
hotels with extensive F&B. Portfolio grew to five hotels in1990. Responsibilities included opening of
prospective properties and marketing of company to potential clients.
