The WINTER/SPRING 2012 FPC/CPP Exam Study Group
The New York Metro Chapter of the American Payroll Association will offer a study group facilitated by
CPP's to help you prepare for the FPC and CPP exams to be held in the winter/spring of 2012.
The Winter 2012 exam period runs from March 31 to April 28, 2012. We urge you to register for your test
date early to secure your spot. But before you register for the exam, you must read the certification FPC
or CPP handbook published by the Certification Board of the American Payroll Association to make
sure that you qualify to take the exam. You can obtain a copy of the handbook by calling the
Certification Office of the American Payroll Association (APA) at (210) 226-4600 or by downloading it
from the APA website (www.americanpayroll.org/certi.html).
Study Group Information:
Dates: The group will meet for 10 weeks - Wednesday January 11 — March 14, 2012
Time: 6PM — 8PM
Location: AKRF, Inc.
440 Park Ave South — 7th Floor (between 29th and 30th Sts) in NYC.
Cost: $100 due by January 6, 2012. Late registration, if available, will be $150.
Text: The 2011 Payroll Source (published by the American Payroll Association and
obtainable through the National APA website) will be used as the Study Group
textbook. You are responsible for obtaining the textbook and lessons 1
and 15 should be read prior to the first meeting.

1. Send an email to sharon.richardson@capsugel.com to reserve your place in the class.
2. Mail your completed application (below) and payment in the form of a check or money order to
arrive at the PO Box by January 6th.
Please note that your seat is not guaranteed until your payment is received.
