Bright green and yellow containers - called Paper Retrievers - are
placed in highly visible, convenient areas in the parking lot of your
organization.
Students, staff, parents, church members, and residents can drop off clean
dry paper including magazines, newspapers, advertising inserts, office paper, and
junk mail. The paper is all placed in the same bin with no sorting or removal of
staples.
Even areas that already provide curbside recycling are successful
in raising money by providing a convenient place to drop off paper, when
families know that your organization will benefit from their donation.
When the paper is collected, it’s weighed with scales on the trucks. A
monthly statement detailing the amount of paper collected is accompanied by a by
a check for the amount collected. Over $4 million will be paid to participating
