• Introduce the processes required to support a successful
implementation
• Introduce necessary steps for successful data migration

Need representation on all PIMs. Send backup if primary is not
available.
Site POC requested to confirm (Accept/Decline) all PIM Outlook
email invitations.
Site POC requested to review the agenda within the Outlook email
invitation and forward to additional resources as needed.
It is critical for site POC to respond to all questions in the PIM
Checklist Web Site as noted in the agenda.

Local Responsibilities - Short-Term
• Populate Pre-Implementation Meeting web site
• Test access to Demo system from training site

Local Responsibilities - Summary
• Log on and begin populating Automated PIM checklist
web site
• Status of all tasks is reviewed in all PIMs
– Training PIMs will be conducted with individual sites after the
kick-off briefing
– Next Training PIM to be scheduled during current PIM meeting
DHSS Responsibilities
• Coordinate all actions for successful training and
implementation of DOEHRS
• Timely response to local concerns
DOEHRS Site Roles
Identify by name for each site:
– DOEHRS Site Representative (DSR)
• Responsible for overall implementation effort at the site
• Functional POC
– DOEHRS Program Office User Security Administrator (USA)
• Approves account requests, assigns permissions
• Manages daily operations of DOEHRS in Program Office
Data Migration
• Run Clean-Up Reports
• PIM process used to monitor Command Core Migration
Utility (CMU) status
• CMU Data must be migrated prior to start of training
• Migration will proceed at T-30 Milestone

DOEHRS Training Preparation
• Pre-DOEHRS Training:
– HIPPA / Privacy Act / Information Assurance Training
• Review Site Specific Implementation & Training Plan
(provided on PIM checklist web site)
• Coordinate Logistics
– Site Access

– Status Reporting on PIM Checklist web site
– PIM Meeting Participation
– Site Level Planning Meetings as necessary

– 5-day (40 hr) Instructor-lead Classroom
• DOEHRS Training System (DTS)
– Primary method is in-place training PCs with internet access at

– Presentation projector with additional bulb
DOEHRS Training
• DSR Training responsibilities (some):
– Training room w/PCs (web access) equal to number of students
attending and one for the instructor
– Plenty of workspace for Student Guide binder to be placed next
to the student computers
– CAC readers and related software installed on all training
computers
– Clear delivery and POC information for DTS/training/instructional
materials shipment
– Logistics for personnel involved with I&T (billeting, security,
maps, etc…)
Over the Shoulder Training
• Effort funded separately by Air Force
• Trainer available for a week to assist with DOEHRS data
entry and answer additional questions
• Dates for OTS training determined by the AF and the site
• AF Functional POC for OTS Training: Ms. Valerie Burt,
