                                                                Prontaprint Walsall Invests in the Future
                                                         £100,000 State-of-the-Art Technology Installed


Local business entrepreneur and owner of Prontaprint Walsall & Sutton Coldfield, Jay Khuttan, has invested £100,000
in leading edge digital and litho print technology - marking a move to larger premises and an expansion of the business.


The investment, which includes a Heidelberg full colour press, will boost the centre’s in-house capability - offering
businesses across the region professional, high quality print and design within rapid turnaround times. The introduction
of a new eco solvent large format print and cut device will also enable the production of exhibition and outdoor materials
including banners, posters and pop-up stands. To further enhance the centre’s service offering, additional investment
will be made into finishing equipment to guarantee a first-class end result.


The investment and business expansion has created the need for two additional staff members and the centre is
currently recruiting for a manager and field sales executive with experience within the print industry to add to the five-
strong team.


After three years of trading from his high street location, Jay took the decision to move to purpose built industrial
premises on Marlow Street in order to expand the service offering and accommodate new technology. This, coupled with
receiving Prontaprint’s new £3million brand repositioning has seen the business continue to grow from strength to
strength, culminating in the recent upgrade in technology.


The centre offers services across five core areas – design, print, display, direct mail and finish – to businesses in the
region. The investment in new technology will further enhance the print options and features available to clients across
the board.
