Best Way To Level Heavy Armor / Light Armor Skill Fast

v1.0

By this point you should have 100 skill in Enchanting, Alchemy, Smithing.

Your armor skill will increase depending on how hard you are hit. And the easiest enemy that you can

find that hit the hardest are none other than Giants. So the idea here is to power level armor skill is by

intentionally let a giant repeatedly hit you. In order to be able to withstand a giant's hit and able to

cover the damage done, you need to reach the 567 armor rating cap. First you should craft the best

armor that you're able to and enhance them the best you can so that you can withstand the hardest hit.

Here's what you should do:

1. Create Smithing equipment by buying some normal, non-enchanted items (Fortify Smithing can

only be enchanted on Armor, Gloves, Amulet, and Ring.) and then go to local enchanter and

enchant them with “Fortify Smithing”. Using the combination Enchanting/Alchemy combo you

can enchant Fortify Smithing on equipment up to 29% on one slot.

Also create some “Fortify Smithing” potion to maximize the result of your armor enchancements later

on.

2. Go to your local blacksmith. Craft the Armor that you have the skills for. The armor that you

created here not necessarily the one that you will use end-game, but will only be used for the

purpose of increasing your Heavy Armor / Light Armor skill. A heavy armor is recommended so

that you can easily reach the armor cap which is 567 armor rating. This will help in reducing the

damage from the giants.

Also if you want increase both Heavy Armor and Light Armor skill, you can craft 3 piece of Heavy

armor and 1 piece of Light Armor so you will level in both.

3. Equip your Smithing equipment that you created before and drink the “Fortify Smithing” Potion

from alchemy and then quickly enchance 4 piece of your heavy/light armor that you crafted.

Your armor should have legendary status by now, and will easily reach 567 armor rating or

more.

4. Now enchant “Fortify Restoration” on your Helmet, Armor, Amulet and Ring (25% reduction

each) so that you can have 100% reduction in restoration spell. . Don't forget to equip them

afterwards.

5. Equip the restoration spell “Healing” on both of your hands and go find a giant camp. Aggro

one or two giant and withstand their attacks. If you're low on hp cast healing with both hands.

You can use “Close Wounds” / “Grand healing” if you need more healing, especially if you

want it to level faster by withstanding hits from 2 giants at once. The combination of your

armor and restoration spell will cover the damage from the giants easily and you will get to 100

in no time.
