ELDER SCROLLS SKYRIM

Best Way To Level Sneak Fast

v1.0

1. Go to High Hrothgar. This is the place where you learn the Dragon shout from the Greybeards.

This area is part of the main quest line after you kill the dragon in Whiterun. The Jarl of

Whiterun will tell you to meet the Greybeards and the place will show up on your map.

The first time arriving, you will do some mandatory conversations between you and the Greybeards

where you demonstrate your Dragon Shout, after that you are free to roam the place.

2. Go inside the main hall of the building you will see that there's almost always a monk kneeling

in the middle circle of the room. This is the guy where you'll practice your sneak.

3. Go into sneak mode, walk behind the kneeling monk. Ready your weapons, and when the target

cursor becomes “Hidden”, then strike him once with your weapons. You will gain sneak along

with some One Handed / Two handed weapon skill this way (although the Sneak will gain level

a lot faster). After striking, wait 3-4 seconds until your target cursor becomes “Hidden” again

then strike him again and repeat. The monk will change position within the circle after some

point, just stay behind him. Also, after a while the monk will leave. But you can wait 2-5 hours

and there will be another monk replacing him in the same spot and repeat the process. Basically

the trick here is to maintain the Sneak Attack (striking while sneaking) and it will increase your

Sneak skill fast.

4. If you have high Sneak perks i believe you can constantly backstabbing the monk from behind

and not be detected. But if you don't want to invest in Sneak, just wait couple of seconds.

Besides, hitting them with a delay gives them time to regenerate their health. The monk cannot

die, but when their health is depleted they'll need time regenerate like usual. Also, if you don't

have any perks in Sneak, hitting the monk while detected will cause the monk to go aggresive

on you.
