Souriau USA, Inc. Design Registration Program
The Souriau Design Registration Program is intended to motivate, compensate and
reward Distributors who promote the design-in & support the sale of production products
for the identified programs.
Overview
This program is available to authorized Souriau USA, Inc. Distributors.
Design Registrations will be assigned by end customer and program name to the
part number level. Every unique customer program will require a corresponding
Design Registration Reporting Form.
This program is focused on and driven by the distributor sales team, with the
support of their respective organizations. Each opportunity submitted will be
forwarded to Souriau USA, Inc. for consideration for acceptance.
Requirements
To be registered, the customer program must have a minimum annual sales
potential of $5,000.
Souriau USA, Inc. – Design Forecast / Registration Reporting Form (NEDA
Format) must be submitted to and approved by Souriau Product Manager.
In the event of a dispute, the distributor must be able to provide specific data
related to securing the design-win.
Eligible Products
All Trim Trio standard connectors, new part numbers and cable assemblies.
Push Pull Connectors
Any product extension (new part number) for the following series for which the
participating distributor is franchised.
o Filter connectors
o Hermetic connectors
o RF connectors
o Arinc
Any new product development, resulting from Design Registration.
Registration Protection
The registration program is designed to offer additional incentive for services
provided by the distributor for securing a design-win and to protect the margin of
the distributor in competitive situations.
To register an opportunity the Distributor must follow the procedure listed in the
following section (Procedure). Souriau will approve or reject the registration
request and log each approval.
Upon acceptance of registration where a special price is quoted to the Distributor
to secure the design win, all requests from other Distributors will be quoted at
standard distributor cost and they will be advised that the program is already
registered. Only the distributor with a valid registration number will be eligible
for special pricing to secure the design-win.
Upon acceptance of the registration, where no special pricing was issued to secure
the design win, and a competitive situation is present, Distributor will notify
Souriau, and Souriau will issue a special price to the Distributor that may be up to
a 15% reduction in standard pricing. Upon acceptance of registration all requests
from other Distributors will be quoted at standard distributor cost.
Procedure
Distributor completes Souriau Design Registration Form and submits to Souriau
USA, Inc. (Rshaw@souriau.com) for review.

Upon information verification, Souriau approves or disallows the registration.
If approved, a registration number is assigned with status of “registration only”.
Upon receipt of first production order, status will change to “design-win”.
In order to facilitate the Special Price Distributor will contact Souriau’s Customer
Service Organization, refer to their Design Registration, and request a special
price. Souriau USA, Inc. will issue the Special Price, which will be valid for 1
year. At the end of the 1-year period the distributor may request an extension.
Souriau will review and advise if the extension is approved.
General
Souriau USA, Inc. reserves the right to cancel this program without notice. Souriau USA,
Inc. reserves the right to revoke a registration if:
Distributor fails to support production with sufficient inventory.
Distributor attempts to promote competitive product on this opportunity.
The opportunity subsequently migrates to a CEM and Souriau USA, Inc. is not
notified.
The customer requests that the Distributor be replaced on a program for any
reason.
The Distributor is on credit hold due to non-payment.
