4. FY 04-09 TIP Changes Fund source, year and cost changes and the addition of exempt projects
Teri Dixon have been requested. The TIP changes are available at the CATS Web
site, www.catsmpo.com.

5. Proposed FY 2005 CMAQ Program The CMAQ Project Selection Committee is scheduled to meet September
Ross Patronsky 13 to consider the public comments received on the proposed FY 2005
CMAQ program. It is anticipated that the Selection Committee will
recommend a program for Work Program Committee consideration and

6. Self-Certification of the Planning Process On an annual basis, the MPO is required to certify that the planning

7. TIP Procedures Committee Recommendations The TIP Procedure Committee has reviewed a revised schedule for the FY
Patricia Berry 2005-2009 TIP update. The revised schedule is enclosed. To ensure
continuity of programming, FY 05 should be added as a selected year of

9. Pace Service Restructuring Process Pace is undergoing a series of studies to restructure the fixed route
services throughout the Pace service region. These studies are
community based and focus on sub regions within the Pace service area.
Pace will discuss the status of its North Shore and Fox Valley/Southwest
DuPage Studies.

10. CATS / NIPC Ad Hoc Committee At the June Policy Committee, an ad hoc committee was formed and
instructed to work with a comparable NIPC committee to catalog the
functions of each agency, identify duplications and suggest efficiencies.
The current status of that effort will be presented to the Work Program
Committee.
11. Implications of 2000 Census A report on the status of the issues and implications of the 2000 Census
Mike Walczak will be given.
