All bidders are required to sign and attach a copy of this addendum with each proposal for Physician
Diagnostic Imaging Services for Patients of the Harris County Hospital District (“District”). This
addendum must be received by the Purchasing Department no later than the above due date.
ADDENDUM NO. 1
The following is provided to answer vendor questions and clarify requirements:
1. Will the physician be working via teleradiology only, or will the physicians also be required to be onsite at
various facilities? The physician is only needed to interpret exams. Physicians will not be required to
work onsite at a particular facility.
2. What is the typical mix of ultrasound studies (e.g., %OB/GYN, %General, %CV, etc.)? 100% General.
3. How many different radiological modalities would the physician have to do (i.e., Plain Film, Ultrasound,
CT,MRI, etc.)? Ultrasound, MRI and CT.
4. What are the working hours and will call coverage be required? The physician is only needed to interpret
exams. This question is not applicable for the required service.
5. What facilities will be serviced? The physician is only needed to interpret exams and will not be
providing services directly to any particular facility.
6. What is the typical payor mix (e.g., %uninsured, %Medicare, %Medicaid, etc.)? Mostly uninsured.
7. Is Job No. 10/0100 for a new contract, or is it for a replacement? Job No. 10/0100 is one of two (2)
advertised projects that will be replacing Job No. 06/0406. The other advertised projects is Job No.
10/0066.
