Though sidemen are not as well-known as their
associated front men, success usually does not happen
when one or the other is absent.
Being a 2nd takes loyalty, humility, and
determination.

play the 2nd fiddle well.”

“Inyour Caution: Is there any chance that man would
have disobeyed God and eaten the forbidden fruit
without the trap of the devil?
My answer is, yes.
Because, God's forbidden statement in Gen: 2:17 declares that
the possibility and privilege for man to make the choice
with the trap or without the trap.
Only difference is that without the trap, man do not have any
chance for redemption (like fallen angel does not). Men's
creation is completely different than angel and all the other
creatures and creation. It's very unique.

But with the trap of the devil the man and his
offspring have a very special favor from the Lord Almighty.
We have the chance to get saved in our journey of life. The
Lord showed his compassion and his wrath throughout the
ages toward mankind. And provided all necessary tools
and structure and instruction to get their attention toward
heavenly things which they lost. In the last 2000 years,
He invited all the people through the Gospel of the LORD
JESUS CHRIST because of that reason. This wonderful
Gospel only make sense to me and all men (those who
believe) for full and final redemption of the entire universe.

As for our present condition of the sinful nature, God
invites us to take part of the divine nature. 2Peter 1:3 and 4.
But this divine nature condition takes place after the
person truly gets saved. (This divine nature we have right
now as Demo version) For demonstration purpose only.
This demo version of divine nature run by faith, and faith
alone through the grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. So
there was a terrible problem, but now we have God
providing the real solution, as easy as possible and full of
hope and eternal security.”

The Trap Issue in the Garden of Eden
Stating the Facts from the Bible with respect to the Angels
1. Lucifer (a Cherub, not an Angel) fell on his own accord. This
was the origin of sin (from within him). (Ezek 28; Is 14)
2. Some other angels fell too (2Pet 2:4, Jude 6).
3. Did they fall on their own accord, or did Satan set a trap for
them like man (courtesy Jeff S.)? Don’t know - Speculation.
4. They sinned; they kept not their first estate; they left their own
habitation.
5. Their doom is sealed; their fate is reserved; they cannot be
redeemed; unlike man, they cannot be saved.
6. Why is #5 so? Sin from within? Sin from without? It’s all
Speculation…Therefore to use the case of angels as a
comparison point for man’s situation is also speculation.
7. Sans the speculation, The angels argument is moot. 14-Feb-2010 pg.8

The Trap Issue in the Garden of Eden
Stating the Facts from the Bible with respect to Man
1. Created in God’s Image (Knowledge, Righteousness, True
Holiness) What Keach question is this?
2. He was created and resided in the Garden of Eden for an
undisclosed period of time - without sin.
3. He was tempted from without and succumbed to that
temptation, thereby sinning.
4. He is redeemable, and God sent a redeemer to do so.
5. The “Why” for #4 with speculative reasoning from #3 is the
basis of the extended discussion of the “Trap” last week.

The Trap Issue in the Garden of Eden
Stating the Facts from the Bible with respect to Man (cont’d)
6. God chose to incarnate himself as a man not a cherub or angel
(courtesy Pastor Huff). Man is privileged over angels (Heb 1).
7. Man is indeed special versus any other beings (see #1 & 6).
Perhaps God created man as “super beings” in his image for
the specific purpose of standing up to the temptations of the
devil (from without by design); Adam #1 failed, but then
Adam #2 triumphed victoriously (courtesy GinoL, embellished
some by MJC).

Secular Humanism (SE)
Secular humanism is a humanist philosophy that espouses
reason, ethics, and justice, and specifically rejects supernatural
and religious dogma as the basis of morality and decision-
making. Like other types of humanism, secular humanism is a
life stance that focuses on the way human beings can lead good,
happy and functional lives.
The term "secular humanism" was coined in the 20th century, and
was adopted by non-religious humanists in order to make a clear
distinction from “religious humanism.” Secular humanism is also
called "scientific humanism.“ Biologist E.O. Wilson claimed it to
be "the only worldview compatible with science’s growing
knowledge of the real world and the laws of nature".
“…avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so

Worldview 101
Marxism/Leninism (ML)
Marxism is a worldview based upon a materialist interpretation
of history, anti-capitalism, theory for social change, and
atheism. Primary authors: Karl Marx & Friedrich Engels.
The three-fold foundation is:
1. Struggle of the Social Classes: What history is “really” all about.
2. Capitalism is Bad: The minority bourgeoisie (aristocracy – “have’s”)
exploit the majority proletariat (working class – “have not’s”).
3. Advocacy of Proletarian Revolution: The working class must
seize power to establish collective ownership. Classes, inequality, etc.
would go away automatically.
Leninism is based on the theories of Vladimir Lenin, which he
developed from Marxism and interpreted with respect to the
Russian Empire of his time (~1920). 14-Feb-2010 pg.25

Cosmic Humanism (CH)
Cosmic Humanism, also referred to as the New Age movement,
New Age spirituality, and The New Age, is a decentralized
western social and spiritual movement that seeks “Universal
Truth" and the attainment of the highest individual human
potential (“self-actualization” in psychology terminology).
It includes aspects of Occultism, Astrology, Esotericism,
Metaphysics, Alternative Medicine, Music, Collectivism,
Sustainability, and Nature.
New Age spirituality is characterized by an individual approach
to spiritual practices and philosophies, and the rejection of
religious doctrine and dogma.

Biblical Christianity
“The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, being given by
divine inspiration, are the Word of God, the only infallible rule
of faith and practice.”
