        School of Management Studies
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada
An Overview of the Programme
Currently, there is an emerging emphasis on the research activity of faculty in B-Schools. The
response of stake holders invariably needs to be processed and projected as research
reports/papers as designed and mediated through the proper case study. Adopting the most
appropriate methodology stands the fulcrum factor during the processing of any research work,
viz., project, survey, dissertation etc. On the other and important side, research activity facilitates
the faculty for their rational approach of learning. Such programs are expected to cater the inputs
and the systematic steps involved during the different stages of the processing for a meaningful
end. Although such findings are important in the place on national and international places of
knowledge base in the form of publications in Journals, they provide the required feed-back to
monitor the policy based management of an organization too.

Who Can Participate
The FDP is for academicians, practitioners and research scholars who desire to contribute to the
research in the field of management and to enhance their analytical skills as evinced through
publications in National and International Journals of repute.

The programme entails a broad coverage over the current state-of-art in the research
methodologies, publishing and rights of knowledge. Contributions from the areas of Conceptual
Research, Approaches and Review of Literature, Cutting-Edge Methodology of concurrent
interests, Research based on Empirical means, Overview, Manipulation & Analysis of Data,
Definition & Design of Experiment etc., are some of the fields of interest.

Pedagogy will involve delivery of lectures based on thematic and conceptual approaches from
eminent resource persons, Advocating solutions to Laboratory and field relevant problems,
Sharing of experience and hands on work. Participants are expected to gain rich knowledge by
actively participating in discussions.
