Outlook access.

V. SENDING AN E-MAIL WITH AN ATTACHMENT

VI. OTHER OPTIONS THAT YOU MAY FIND IMPORTANT

 USING THE PREVIEW PANE:

 This allows you to view part of

the e-mail sent in case you don‟t

want to open it immediately to

read the whole thing.

 You can view it on the right, bottom, or left

 EMPTYING THE DELETED ITEMS FOLDER OR THE TRASH

 RIGHT Click on the trash can icon to empty

 Select „Empty Deleted Items‟

 KNOWING THAT YOUR SENT ITEMS ARE SAVED IN YOUR SENT

ITEMS FOLDER (DELETE OFTEN!)

 Most of the time Microsoft Outlook defaults to saving all your sent messages into

the SENT ITEMS folder.

 This is good to have as proof of actually sending e-mail

 You may also make a folder in the Sent Items Folder to save important e-mails

you wrote

 HOWEVER, it is also wise to empty this folder once in a while

 TO EMPTY THE SENT ITEMS folder:

1. Double click on the sent-items folder to open it

2. Take a look at each e-mail.

3. If it is one you no longer need, delete it.

4. Move important ones to a folder if necessary
