Syntax Usage:
CHKDSK [drive:][[path]filename] [/F] [/V] [/R]
  [drive:]    Specifies the drive to check

/R            Locates bad sectors and recovers readable
information
/C          NTFS only: skips checking of cycle within directory tree
/I          NTFS only: performs a less vigorous check of index
Boot up Problems
  Nothing at all happens when you turn on the
  computer.
  You can hear the machine booting, but do
  not see an images on the screen.
  The computer is making a clicking or banging
  noise and will not boot.
  The machine starts to boot into Windows and
  then locks up or gives error message.
