Welcome...
Firstly, we would like to thank you for your interest in Property Place. As you are reading this, chances are you have signed up to our innovative application
and are now looking to upload your properties.
Property Place is the first and currently only property portal on Facebook allowing users to search, share and recommend properties via their Facebook
account.
We are confident that our software will be helpful and effective in allowing your properties to be marketed effectively. Conversely, for your buyers, you can
be sure that they have all the tools at their disposal allowing them to find the right home!
This publication is a guide on how to use our software. It applies to estate agents who do not have an industry recognised property feed. If you already
have a property feed such as Rightmove Version 3, this guide is not needed as we will liaise directly with your software provider. You do not need to do
anything further or different.
If this is the case, please contact us on the email below and we can have this sorted for you.
If you do not have a property feed as mentioned above, this guide will show you how to upload properties quickly and effectively.

Logging in to Property Place
You need to login to Facebook using your company facebook login credentials. If you do not have this, please create a profile that is associated with your
business so you can use it solely for uploading properties to our application.
Every time you want to upload properties, you need to login:

Once you have logged in, the application should display your name as shown. To upload a property for sale, please click as shown.

From here it is very simple:
Property Description Refers to the title that comes up attached to the main picture
Type Refers to the type of property, i.e. Bungalow, Flat, Terraced etc
Sale Type Select whether property for sale or to let
Price If the property is for sale, please specify asking price.
If for rent, please specify price. If the price quoted is on a PCM basis, please also tick the box. If the price is quoted on a
weekly basis, please leave this box and the software will automatically quote as “per week”
Bedrooms Number of Bedrooms
Bathrooms Number of Bathrooms
Receptions Number of Reception Rooms
Key Features Please specify unique aspects of this property, such as off road parking, garages, local transport links etc
Images These need to be of a high quality to ensure maximum effectiveness. The files must be less than 2MB and must be in a png,
jpg or gif format. The application will not accept bmp or other file types. You can also add captions for each image.
Energy Performance Cert. Please specify if the property has one or not. If it does, you have the option of uploading it as an image as above.
Street/Town/County Please specify the address of the property. If you do not wish to specify the postcode, please enter N/A
Description Please enter as much detail as possible about the property.
Text Format This should always be set to Filtered HTML, unless otherwise directed.

Featured Property If you would like your property to be on the front page, please tick this box. (Note: Charges apply for this service)
Demographic Targeting
A key feature of our application is the ability to target your properties towards your intended customers.
To take advantage of this feature, fill in the fields as appropriate.
For example, if you have a flat in Birmingham which is ideal for a student, in “Education,” write “Birmingham University.” This will result in individuals who
have “Birmingham University” listed in Education being shown the property.

Once you are happy with your listing, please click Save at the bottom of the page. This will now display the next screen with a confirmation:

Managing your Properties
There is a tab at the top labelled as “Manage Properties.” From here, properties can be deleted or amended:

Editing your Properties
Clicking the link for “Edit” will lead you back to the screen for data input. You
just amend as appropriate and click “Save”

Deleting your Properties
On clicking “delete,” it will ask you to confirm whether you want to go ahead.
Responding to Questions
Your customers may have queries regarding the properties that you have uploaded. When this happens, you will receive an email directing you towards the
query:
If you then follow the “Comments” link, it will display the following information in your notifications bar:

On clicking this, you will then be directed to the property where the comment was made:

You can now respond to the comment as necessary. Once you have typed your response in, this will be forwarded on to the customer:
