FAQ – UNDER-GRADUATE 1. Is there any Negative marking in CLAT-2009 for Under-graduate Programme? No What is the pattern of the Under-graduate Test Paper? All Questions are objective type questions. Total Marks – 200 Total number of questions – 200 Subject areas with weightage: English including Comprehension General Knowledge/Current Affairs Elementary Mathematics (Numerical ability) Legal Aptitude Logical Reasoning 3. : 40 marks : 50 marks : 20 marks : 45 marks : 45 marks

Is previous Test Paper available? CLAT-2008 paper can be obtained by sending a demand draft for Rs.50/- drawn in favour of ‘Convenor, CLAT-2009 (NALSAR) payable at Hyderabad. The paper can also be collected in person on payment of Rs.25/-. Who is a NRI Sponsored Candidate? NRI Sponsored Candidates – Candidates who get sponsored by any NRI can apply under this category. Candidates belonging to NRI sponsored category are required to download the Sponsorship Form from the CLAT website and duly filled in form should be attached along with the Application Form.

Candidates from NRI Category, who wish to join CNLU, Patna, are exempted from CLAT-2009. They are required to contact CNLU directly.

What is the procedure to apply under Foreign Nationals Category? Candidates having citizenship of a country other than India are eligible to apply under the above category. Candidates are required to download the Application Form provided for the purpose and duly filled-in Form should be sent to the University concerned. If they wish to be considered for more than one University, they are required to apply to the Universities concerned individually.

Number of Questions: i) Objective Type : 50 questions of one mark each ii) Short answers : 10 questions of five marks each iii) Essay : Two questions of 50 marks each (Two sections containing three questions each out of which one from each section to be answered). 3.
