A Message From the Gala Committee
Welcome to MARDI GRAS!
We’re so glad you’re able to join us in New
Orleans and celebrate Mardi Gras!
We hope you have a wonderful time
experiencing the sounds and tastes of New
Orleans, Mardi Gras style. We would like to
thank everyone who has provided such
wonderful donations. The future generations of
MHNS children will benefit from your generosity.
Please remember our donors and advertisers as
you shop and do business throughout the
community. They will appreciate your support!
We would also like to thank our loyal committee
members, teachers and other parents who have
worked tirelessly to create such a fun evening.
We could not have created this evening without
them.
As Co-Chairs, we are proud to have had the
opportunity to help plan a fundraising event that
will enrich the lives of the children, teachers and
parents of Mount Hebron Nursery School for
years to come. It has been a roller coaster of
emotions planning such a large event, but now
we see how worthwhile the process has been.
Mt. Hebron Nursery School is truly grateful for
your continued support. We hope you enjoy the
evening celebrating Mardi Gras!
Sincerely,
Leisl Edwards, Joanna Borowy and Linda

From The Director
Dear Parents, Families & Friends,
Some Fourteen years ago and seven Gala’s later, I am
still awed by the wonderful support Mt Hebron Nursery
School gets from a group of amazingly dedicated and
giving families. Every other year a group of incredible
people has stepped up to the plate to organize this event
extraordinaire.
They find a venue, food, alcohol, and entertainment.
Then with the support of many of you make decorations,
find resident parent artists who engage the children and
together create these amazing works of art to be
auctioned off, solicit a huge array of items to be donated,
print and sell tickets, coordinate paddles, categorize and
creatively identify donations, sign up to work the
auction, tally receipts and clean up from the event. The
list is endless, because it is a major under taking for the
sole purpose of enriching the lives of the children we are
blessed to serve here at Mt. Hebron.
The Nursery School works hard to provide a program
financially accessible to all the children in our
community. Our incredible teachers are willing to work
for little pay and no benefits because of a professional
commitment to help change the lives of children in a
positive way. We are in every sense of the word non
profit and so very grateful for all the gifts that come our
way because of the support we get from all of you. We
thank all of you for the many different ways you give
back and know that there is a special place in heaven
reserved for you. GO BID!!!!
Fondly, Robin Murray

Cardinals and the Rangers faced each other in the World
Series in 2011, this created a unique situation - not only were
the Rangers paying the majority of a salary to Rhodes, who as
a Cardinal was trying to beat them for the championship, but
the situation also made Rhodes eligible to receive a
championship ring, regardless of who won the title. Tell your
friends this fun fact while you admire new prized possession!.
