Time for a new post ehh? I have been thinking, Why don't developers and producers of games really
listen to the community? I know they say that they do but only until a certain point, then they will go
back with their own ideas because they 'think' they know more than us. Thing is, we are the people who
go and buy the games they make and we are the people who will review and comment on them.
So why doesn't a certain developer actually listen to everything we say to put into the game? e.g. they
should listen to our campaign ideas, our multi player ideas, our co-op ideas and everything else. Only we
know what we want. Call Of Duty for instance, They do actually listen to the community, to a certain
point like I mentioned. In my opinion, they make the on line maps that they want and not what we
want. Why not build on Call Of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare maps? I literally think everyone that ever
played that game loved every single map. Why not release a beta with 40 or 50 maps in it? I know its a
lot but we could play all of them and then vote for which 15 or 16 we want to be in the final game?
Releasing a Beta also gives us the chance to find glitches and exploits for the developers to fix before the
'real' launch.
World At War was a 'glitchers' heaven, But imagine if they hadn't brought out a Beta before? Imagine
how much of a balls up the game would of been? I cant see why they haven't done it the past few years.
Baffles me. Due to releasing the beta for WAW, we were able to exploit glitches and show them to the
developers to fix up. This is one of the reasons this game was a success, They actually listened to us.
Remember why they gave us Makin Day map ? because we asked for it. We demanded it.
I have a thought bubble here, i hope its correct. Maybe, just maybe Infinity Ward and Treyarch are just
waiting for the next generation console to release the ultimate COD. I just hope so, Because they are
using they same boring engine as they have for the past 7 or so years, Come on! it's 2012! do something
new for goodness sake. We ( Customer ) need a new game because the current Call Of Duty is just
getting as boring and as predictable as WWE wrestling is getting! Comparison, WWF Attitude Era = Call
Of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare -----> WWE John Cena Era = Modern Warfare 3.
Developers....listen to us!!
