Senator,
I appreciate you responding. You are one of several dozen legislators who have
taken the time to respond versus sending a boilerplate email response. I know the
majority of legislators don't represent Lawrence, and perhaps don't give a hoot, but
when Lawrence, because of Lantigua's failures, accepts taxpayer dollars to help
Lawrence, it is out of the pockets of all of Mass., including your constituents.
Moreover, when those taxpayer dollars come from Congress, they come from my
pocket too. I also own property in Massachusetts, so it is A DOUBLE WHAMMY!
I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT and will organize a rally in front of city hall on the
Commons. I will bring my tour bus and band and play a free show with some of my
Nashville musician friends so CNN is also there to tell the world about Lantigua.
As you can imagine, with all the negative press about Lantigua, your former
colleague in the legislature, I am a bit apprehensive to speak with anyone in Mass.
since it appears from the Governor's office downward no one gives two
S****...(Pardon my French). Lantigua does NOT deserve to be mayor. In my
opinion, he does NOT deserve to be a US citizen. He is a disgrace to Lawrence,
Massachusetts and the United States of America.
Lantigua has to go either by recall, election or in federal agents' handcuffs. Plain,
simple and to the point! Trust that I will do my part in seeing the latter come to
fruition.
If you are genuinely concerned about Massachusetts and its residents, then sign on
to Rep. Torrisi's bill to give Nunez control over appointing an independent financial
board for Lawrence. I need to say this, Nunez is as commonplace a surname as
Garcia, Smith, Morales, Sanchez, Torrisi in the city of immigrants so I am
concerned that he may have relationships with other Nunez's appearing on
Lantigua's campaign reports.
But let's just say, for now, that Nunez is a stand-up person.
Are you willing to hold a news conference to say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?
I am contemplating setting up a PAC to expose Lantigua and all the wrong he has
done to Lawrence. I will not sit idly by, albeit, several hundred miles away in
Tennessee while Lantigua uses his cronies to further destroy Lawrence. I grew up
in Lawrence and will not allow some bonehead ruin its legacy and history.
He is bad for Lawrence and bad for Massachusetts.
I am eager to hear your reply.

Dear Eddie—
I understand your frustrations.
It is my understanding the Lawrence Police Department is investigating the issue regarding the release of a juvenile
record and I trust they will resolve who accessed that file. That information should never have left the police
department.
I am committed to serving the city of Lawrence and I believe there are a number of great things happening in the city. I
was successful in securing a grant for the Lawrence Police Department to hire more officers and I plan on pursuing that
grant again this budget cycle. New businesses are coming to the area, like Eastern Bank, and mills are being rehabbed
into affordable housing. NECC is expanding and the new Superintendent is working to turn around our public schools.
Lawrence is steadily moving forward and I have been a constant partner and advocate for the city.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate you supporting the city of Lawrence.

Ms. Gould,
Is this email to have a discussion with you or the Senator? In either case,
I'd rather have it in writing or be allowed to record the conversation.
I hope you understand.

Enough is Enough with the shenanigans and state officials ignoring the cancer that has clung onto the city of
Lawrence and its (in large part) innocent citizens,
To respect the email addresses and privacy of many of the recipients herein, they are listed in the BCC
section. However since public officials are at the crux of this problem, one way or another, their email
addresses are a public record and therefore are made public herein.
The public record vis-a-vis numerous newspaper articles about the mayor and investigations speak for
themselves and one may draw their own conclusion. After weeks of reading about wrongdoing and
questionable acts, I have drawn my conclusion and am therefore compelled to act.
Since the email addresses to Gov. Patrick and Lt. Gov. Murray are not publicly available, this transmission
shall be sent via facsimile to 617-727-9725.
Moreover, since many Lawrence residents/citizens are in fear of retaliation, as exhibited by acts of revealing
a juvenile's criminal record and other acts that may be in violation of federal and state laws, as well as civil
rights and privacy laws, I am taking this battle to the front lines. I am not in fear of retaliation by Lantigua or
others as I don't reside in Lawrence, Ma. but did grow up in this beautiful and proud city.
Please act accordingly and save Lawrence, Ma.
Eddie Garcia
PS: I applaud Rep. Smizik who appears to bravely and openly disclose a personal email for his constituents
to reach him and therefore earns high marks for transparency and meaningful access to his constituents.
