Greetings,

Kindly refer to the complaint lodged by the founder Chairman, People for Animals (PFA)
www.pfaharyana.in Haryana Naresh Kadyan, representative of the International Organisation for Animal
Protection – OIPA www.oipa.org in India with the SHO, Central Police Station, Faridabad along with the
Wildlife Inspector.

It has been learnt that African country Kango troops performed in the Surajkund Craft Mela, 2012 on
February, 1, 2012 and they wear dress with tiger skin along with the feather of the wild birds, which is
the violation of the guidelines issued by the IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature read -
http://www.iucn.org/about/ with the CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of
Wild Fauna and Flora) - http://www.cites.org/eng/disc/what.php and the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

It would be pertinent to mention here that the Kango troops are residing in the Magpie and all wild
animal and birds trophies are kept by them in their rooms, where as all concerned enforcement
agencies failed to recover the wild animal and birds trophies, which were used during their performance
on February 1, 2012.

Hence OIPA in India and PFA Haryana compelled to serve this notice as per section 55 of the Wildlife
Protection Act, 1972 before the Chief Wildlife Warden, Haryana for further legal action against Kango
troops and to recover wild animals and birds trophies. Matter taken up with the Govt. of Haryana vide
Registration no. DRWLP/E/2012/00001 on 03-02-2012, with the Ministry of Environment and Forest
bearing No. MOEAF/E/2012/00032 and with the President of India's office No. PRSEC/E/2012/01720
