current state of the economy, maintaining a business is like

steering a raft through the rapids. Business owners and promoters

need to determine which marketing campaign would be most

effective. This is why business owners and marketing specialists

need to be familiar with the various marketing strategies that are

Before the internet, the only means of

marketing is through traditional methods.

When everyone got hooked, marketers

saw the potential of internet marketing.

It’s cheap, flexible, accessible, and has a

wide reach. Most small businesses

usually rely on it to survive.





Internet marketing branches out into more specific approaches.

The most widely used platform is the social media. Products or

services are marketed across the huge networks of friends and

links. Its effectiveness lies on the fact that everyone is addicted to

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.



Online video marketing is much

like social media marketing. Let’s

face it, some people just don’t

like reading. We want ads that we

can watch and hear. Just like with

TV commercials, online videos

work that way.

article marketing. Businesses or promoters write articles about the

business, the product or the services being offered and post them

on various article bases online. Keywords are hyperlinked to the

product site. The approach even works out in two ways. We have

already mentioned about the hyperlink. The second benefit is SEO.



The more links there are to a site, the

higher its rank becomes in search

Another widely accepted method is guerilla marketing. The

have 10 or 20 people read the book on the park the whole day.
