Responsibilities
Involved in development of advanced business reports using Cognos Report Net 1.1.
Created analytical reports with efficient visualization by way of drill-through reports, cross tab
reports, charts, and list reports.
Improved presentation of the reports using conditional blocks and variables, font and color
highlights and icons.
Performed impact analysis on the change requests from clients and proposed solutions.

The project deals with the development of Reports in Cognos Series7 ReportNet1.1
using Query Studio and Report Studio, for City of Dallas Land Management System (LMS).
Simple reports are created using Query Studio and Complex reports are created using Report
Studio and custom SQL. The database used is SQL Server 2000 the database server is in City of
Dallas. We used VPN (Virtual Private Network) for connectivity. Projectricity (Project collaboration
tool - www.projectricity.com) is used to interact with the client and maintain the status of the
reports. The aim of our project is to develop the reports based on the client requirements. The
report is manually tested using Query Analyzer, checklist and the output format given by the
client.
Responsibilities
Involved in design phase, gathered requirements from users and developed report
specifications for creating reports using ReportNet
Designed models using Framework Manager and deployed packages to the ReportNet
Servers.
Created Reports to evaluate the business performance based on various financial
indicators.
Developed complex reports in report studio using prompts, parameters, filters and
conditional formatting.
Involved in the creation of list, cross tab, blank reports in report studio and charts using
master/detail Relationships, tabular model and tabular set.

This is a Product of Insyslogic Solutions Ltd. Specially designed for Engineering Colleges
for collection of fees from the students and payroll processing of staffs. Daily report, which
consists of Detailed Report and Consolidated report category wise, are generated for the fees
collected. Individual reports are created for each master and receipt is created for each
transaction. MySQL3.12 is used as the database.
