- Your support of our classroom will allow me to buy
educational activities , experiments, supplies, ink,
etc. to make our year fun and successful for the
students. (We are asking for $20 per student)
- You may put your classroom donation in the
envelope provided and turn in to me.

- If you are able there are additional items that are
needed for our classroom throughout the year. You
may choose one or more items off the board to send.
Let me know if you are able to help as a room parent
(help organize parties, special activities, etc.)
- Even if you are not able to volunteer time, there will
be opportunities when you can help our class by sending
requested materials/supplies sent for special projects or
activities!

Class Rules:
- Be respectful. - Be resourceful.
- Be responsible. - Be the BEST you can be.
Consequences:
1st offense- Verbal Warning
2nd offense- Yellow Card -Sign the conduct book; note home in agenda;
silent lunch.
3rd offense- Orange Card - Complete a Behavior Action Plan to be sign
by parents, silent or restricted lunch
4th offense- Red Card - Modify the Behavior Action Plan to be signed by
parents, Phone call home to parent/guardian; silent or restricted lunch.
If your child has repeated problems they will be referred to the principal.
Please be sure to make note of the CHANGES in the
red code of conduct book of the following changes:
- Page 10 – Check-in/Check-out; Tardies; Absences
- Page 30 - Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
The code of conduct book must be left at school
tonight. We will be covering these policies with the
students next week and then they will bring them
home.

weekly reading power points for viewing at home, links to our
math and reading textbooks online, and other great resources
for parents and students

PLEASE LOOK THROUGH YOUR CHILD'S
BINDER EVERYDAY for homework and important
notes or papers. Students will regularly be assigned
homework. Students will have Reading and Math
Homework on most nights.
- Students will need to study for upcoming tests.
Students will have a Reading and Spelling test
almost every Friday.
- Please initial the agenda nightly. It is important
that you know what is going on each day.
- We will have to walk to lunch everyday at
OES. Please make sure your child brings a
jacket, gloves, etc. during our cold
months.
-We also have to walk if it’s raining…Please
make sure you send a poncho with your
child’s name on it to use on rainy days.
UMBRELLAS are not permitted.
How does your student get home?
(FORM NEXT TO THE SIGN-IN SHEET).
- If there is a change in the way your child needs to go
home (with a friend or changes from bus rider to car
rider) you must send a written note each time
If they are a bus rider:
- -Make sure you put down which bus they ride and
MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENT KNOWS by Monday
morning
