VISITING TEAM INFORMATION
Site: Hartford Civic Center – Hartford, Connecticut.

Game Management: All contests are managed according to Big East Policies and Procedures.
Directions: See attached map.
Officials: Assigned by the Big East Conference.
Uniforms: As the visiting team, you will wear your away (dark) uniforms.
Team Arrival: A University of Connecticut host will meet the team at the Shipping and
Receiving entrance of the Hartford Civic Center. (see map and directions enclosed). The host
will then escort your team to the assigned locker room.
Locker Room: Your locker room will be located in the Hartford Civic Center. Your host will
remain with the team during competition. UConn staff will provide your locker room with
towels, soap, ice, whiteboard, and complimentary programs.
Practices: Court is available sixty minutes prior to the start of the game. If you require other
practice time, contact Jason Poppe in the Facility Operations and Events Office at (860) 486-
4712.
Team Bench: When facing the scorer’s table, your bench is located to the right. Bench passes
will be provided to you upon your arrival. Your bench will be equipped with water, ice, and
towels, and set with 19 chairs.
Media: Coordinated through Randy Press or Mike Enright at (860) 486-3531. This includes
credentials, parking, phone lines, television, radio, and post-game interview procedures. Both
head coaches are featured in a post-game interview held in the Hartford Civic
Center pressroom. The visiting coach will be interviewed first.
Security: A Hartford Police Officer will escort your head coach throughout his stay.
Tickets: Coordinated through the Melissa Wielandt in the Ticket Office at (860) 486-3763.
Gates open one hour prior to game. Please inform your players and coaches that their tickets
will be available for pick up at the north entrance of the arena.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HARTFORD CIVIC CENTER
Coming From North Or South On Interstate 91:
Take Trumbull Street Exit (#32-B). Go straight through 6 lights, you will be on
Trumbull Street. (The Hartford Civic Center will be on the right) Take a right onto
Asylum Street; Take another right onto Ann Street. The load-in ramp is a quick
right into the building.
Heading West On Interstate 84:
Take Main Street Exit (# 50) when you get to the bottom of the exit continue
straight while bearing to the right. At the second light, take a left onto Trumbull
Street. At the second light the Hartford Civic Center will be on your right. Take a
right onto Asylum Street; Take another right onto Ann Street. The load-in ramp
is a quick right into the building.
Heading East On Interstate 84:
Take Ann and High Street Exit (#49). At the end of the exit take a right at the
first light onto High Street, then a left at the first light onto Church Street. Take a
right onto Trumbull Street, Take a right onto Asylum Street and another right
onto Ann Street. The load-in ramp is a quick right into the building.
