Dear Mssrs. Fielding:
After some research, I have found the following and am puzzled therefore am asking
you to respond if you care.
1. Michael Fielding appears to be the same fellow that ran unsuccessfully in District
F against Marc Laplante for city council, is that correct?
2. Michael Fielding appears to be the same fellow that appears on many of William
Lantigua’s campaign reports as treasurer, is that correct?
3. Michael Fielding appears to be the same fellow who is listed as manager or
owner of Lawrence British Club, is that correct?
4. Richard Fielding appears to be the same fellow listed on Massachusetts official
corporation documents as an owner, manager, director, officer of the Lawrence
British Club, a business that has a liquor license issued by the city of Lawrence
and/or the Mass. ABC, is that correct?
5. Richard Fielding appears to be the same fellow who is the chairman of the
Lawrence Licensing Board, a city committee that approves or denies liquor
licenses within the city limits, is that correct?
Michael: If the above is true and accurate, is it also true that William Lantigua pressured
you, advised you, pleaded, and begged that you run against Marc Laplante?
Richard: If the above is true and accurate, how can you justify being on the licensing
board and owning a business that is at the mercy or approval, denial of the same board
to which you are chairman? Is that not a conflict?
You may not answer my questions, as I suspect and expect, but they needed to be
asked and made public.
