Ronald A. Seale, 33˚, Sovereign Grand Commander
III. Ronald A. Seale was elected Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council
Southern Jurisdiction, October 3, 2003, and was installed October 7, 2003. He is a native
of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was born June 24, 1948 and attended public schools in
Baton Rouge before graduating with a B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1970 and
with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University
in 1973.
He entered law practice (general and civil litigation) in Baton Rouge in 1974 and is a
member of the American Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, and
International Association of Defense Council.
He is a member of East Gate Lodge No.452, and Baton Rouge Scottish Rite Bodies. He
was invested with rank and decoration of Knight Commander Court of Honor in 1977
and Coroneted a 33˚ Inspector General Honorary in 1993. He and his wife Saundra have
two children.
The Outstanding performance of III. Ronald A. Seale, 33˚ Demolay Freemasonry, and
the Scottish Rite predict he will meet the challenges in the leadership role of the Supreme
Council, Southern Jurisdiction.
