             Please pray for vocations.

          God of gracious love, You gathered us
  first at the waters of baptism, and you lead us
  through life with faithfulness.
          As once you formed us as a Diocese of
  Baton Rouge so now, Lord God, do for us again
  something new. Raise up from among our
  families and friends, leaders to serve your people
  as Priests, Sisters, Brothers, Deacons and Lay
  Ministers.
          To those whom you call, give grace and
  courage to discern how they may best serve you.
  To us all, give good hearts so we might
  encourage them along the way.
          May we live to see the fruitfulness of our
  longing, walking with you, O God, into a future
  filled with hope. We ask this through Jesus
  Christ, and with your Holy Spirit, now and
  forever. Amen
