                               High School Diploma Programs Process

Complete the form on front with all required documentation and turn in to Enrollment Services in building 25.
Completed applications will be evaluated by SPSCC staff. Below is what you can expect for each of the programs.

High School Completion

We will assess your completed credit toward state graduation guidelines. Please keep in mind that your original
high school graduation requirements may not be the same as the state requirements. Once the evaluation is
completed you will be notified of your remaining credit. You can view your progress toward your high school
diploma online through Degree Audit. Once you have received notification of your evaluation you will come to
New Student Advising to register for classes. You can view the new student advising calendar online or pick up a
copy in building 25. In order to complete your diploma you will be required to complete at least 15 credits even if
the credit needed to complete diploma requirements is less than that. Only those classes needed toward
completion of the diploma will be eligible for the tuition reduction. Any additional credit needed to complete at
least 15 credits will be charged at the full tuition rate. Students must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA upon completion
of classes in order for the diploma to be granted.

Degree Completion (under 18)

You will need to make an appointment to meet with an Educational Planner to discuss college readiness and
degree requirements. You can make an appointment online through the advising web page. You should have a
degree path selected. If you are unsure of which degree you want to complete, go online to our web site to look at
the complete list of degree options. Once you have met with an Educational Planner you will go through New
Student Advising to register for classes. You can view the new student advising calendar online or pick up a copy
in building 25. Students must complete all degree requirements with a cumulative 2.0 GPA in order for the degree
to be granted.

Degree Completion (over18)

If you are over the age of 18 you do not need to complete any additional paperwork. You will register for classes
as a new student through New Student Advising. You can view the new student advising calendar online or pick
up a copy in building 25. Once you are within two quarters of completing your degree you will fill out the
graduation application and request evaluation toward your associate degree and your high school diploma.
Students must complete all degree requirements with a cumulative 2.0 GPA in order for the degree to be granted.
