BALTIMORE, Md. – (January 19, 2011) The 2011 Motor Trend International Auto Show - Baltimore drives
automotive excitement into the Baltimore Convention Center, Thursday, February 10 through Sunday, February 13
with hundreds of the latest cars, crossovers, trucks and more. From hot pre-production models to the latest
alternative fuel vehicles, this automotive extravaganza is 20 percent larger this year, and the ideal location for
families, car fanatics and consumers in the market for a new car.
Attendees are invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, sit behind the wheels, inspect
engines, learn about new fuel-saving automotive technologies and even take a test drive in new models. Cruise
around the auto show floor and check out the latest hybrids and electric-powered vehicles including the plug-in
electric Chevrolet Volt, Honda Insight, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and more. The auto show will also feature hot pre-
production models including the 2012 Ford Focus, 2012 Ford C-MAX, 2012 Buick Verano, 2012 Buick LaCrosse
eAssist, 2012 Chevrolet Sonic and the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible.
Showgoers are invited to hop behind the wheels of the latest models from Chevrolet, Buick and GMC at the
Experience the Drive Ride & Drive. More than a dozen new model vehicles will be available for test drives including
the Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Equinox, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid
and more.
The Motor Trend International Auto Show - Baltimore will also showcase the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray concept
car, recently featured in the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The Stingray combines styling cues from
current Corvettes, the 1959 Stingray racecar and the 1963 Stingray split-window coupe.
Don’t miss the SHIFTR Automotive and Lifestyle Expo, located on the 300 level of the Baltimore Convention
Center. This custom car show within the auto show features exotics, drift cars, tuners, lowriders, DJs, the
“Underground Get Down” B-Boy Battle and more.

plug-in electric vehicle with a range-extending onboard engine. Taking place several times daily, the performance will
utilize a plasma screen and a magician performing magic tricks.
• Baltimore Orioles Special Appearances – On Saturday, February 12 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Orioles fans
can get their picture taken with the Oriole Bird, and retired player Joe Orsulak will be signing autographs for fans
between 12 noon and 2 p.m.
• Family Day, Sunday, February 13 – Children 12 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying
adult. There will be special meet and greet appearances with Marvel’s Spider-Man®, between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
on this special day, as well as an appearance by Marvel’s Iron Man®, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Motor Trend International Auto Show - Baltimore is presented by the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association
and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC, the nation’s largest auto show producer and part of Source Interlink
Companies, Inc. The auto show will be open to the public Thursday, February 10 through Sunday, February 13, at
the Baltimore Convention Center, located at One West Pratt Street in Baltimore.
Show hours are Thursday, from 12 noon to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, from
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission to the event is $10 for adults, $6 for military with ID, seniors, students with ID and $4 for
children ages 7-12. Children ages six and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Save time
