Widex Super: The Smallest Power Hearing Aid
Available
Widex recently introduced Super
440 and Super 220, the smallest
hearing aids available for
individuals with severe to
profound hearing loss. Until now,
traditional behind-the-ear (BTE)
devices were the best treatment
for this degree of impairment, but
they were big and bulky because the large, powerful receiver
which delivered sound to the ear was housed in the BTE itself.
The new class, known as receiver-in-the-canal (RIC), delivers the
power necessary by separating the receiver from the case of the
device and placing it into the ear mold which fits into the ear
canal.
If you or a loved one experience a severe to profound hearing
loss and would like to try the world’s smallest hearing aid with
the most features, contact a local audiologist and ask about the
Widex Super hearing aid.
