This Is the Life is the debut album by Scottish singer-song-
writer Amy Macdonald, released on 30 July 2007. It was
highly successful, reaching the number one in the UK al-
bums chart on 13 January 2008,[10] and as of 14 March
2008, over 700,000 copies have been sold in the UK, certi-
fying it 2x Platinum.[11] Later in the year at 15 December
