1. General Information
The adventure off-road rally DRESDEN-BRESLAU is a competitive event for enduro, quad,
trucks and other all-terrain vehicles. The rally consists of time and skill assessments and
special tests. The rally takes place in a difficult terrain.

The motto of the 16th rally is: 1 week of fun, sport and individual vacation away from the
firm roads. Community and collegiality are the bearing elements of the event. In the
evaluation not only a good vehicle is important, but also the harmony between the driver and
the co-driver, the understanding of the roadbook and the compass or better GPS and, the last
but not least, a pint of luck in finding the right way.

The rally DRESDEN-BRESLAU features a demanding programme. The start and prologue
will take place in Germany and will comprise time assessments and skill tests in terrain. The
following stages will be in western Poland. The focus will be put on the trial and technical
sections of various length and difficulty. The event is particularly famous for the length of its
stages. Each participant is obliged to help other participants during the assessment as well as
beyond this time.

It's not a duty to help with the technical problems, but from the point of view of fairness -
always welcomed.

Changes of the regulations to the advantage of the organisation of the rally are always
possible.

Binding is the German version of the regulations.

2. Terrain
The route of the rally consists of all kinds of surface, from asphalt in the join sections to the
challenging terrain. The course of the sections will be announced exclusively through the
roadbook or during the meeting. The join sections in Germany are only recommended and not
imposed by the organiser. They will be driven by the participants on their own responsibility
according to the traffic regulations.

3. Conditions of the participation
The rally DRESDEN-BRESLAU is for enduro, quad, trucks and other all-terrain vehicle
drivers with or without the motor sport licence.

All drivers are obliged to keep the road traffic regulations. All vehicles, also the service
vessels and other wheelers must have a valid registration and insurance and be roadworthy for
the participation in the evaluated stages.

At the moment of the event the drivers must be of age and have a valid driving licence, which
is adequate to their vehicle.

For the participation in the rally it's necessary to have a good physical condition. It's
prohibited to participate in the rally DRESDEN-BRESLAU under the influence of drugs,
alcohol, strong medicines or psychotropic’s or similar, if you have a heart pacemaker,
circulation troubles or spine damages, or other health problems including nerve and mind
diseases.
4. Services of the organiser

Registration

After arriving at the camp Dresden the participants will receive free T-shirts, time assessment
sticks, key cards, labels of the sponsors and the plan of labelling.

Acceptance test

Having labelled their vehicles according to the received plan (participants are obliged to fix
the labels of the rally sponsors according to the plan given by the organiser) the participant
goes to the acceptance test. There wll be controlled the obligatory technical conditions (car
documents, registration, labelling, etc.) and the mandatory equipment. Having submitted the
signed disclaimer the participant receives the start approval and the roadbooks.

The acceptance test serves the safety of all drivers and participants and also the fairness. The
labels must stay on the vehicles for the whole event. The acceptance test is only for the
control of the safety devices (extinquisher, first-aid-kit, helmet, additional stop light, etc.).
The fitness to drive will not be controlled, because a good technical state of the vehicle,
confirmed by the valid car papers, is an obligatory condition of the participation in the rally.
The current control of the vehicle before each stage is a private matter of each participant.

Organisation

In 2010 an infopoint will be established. It will always be located near the catering tent. It will
be possible to find the necessary information and help from the organiser as well as the way to
the start point every morning. The staff of the organiser of the DRESDEN-BRESLAU will be
labelled with identification cards (ORGA). They will always be at the start, finish, control
points (CP) and also on the way. All participants are obliged to obey the directions of the
Orga. The staff will only help in the emergency situations (accident, etc.), they will not give
any information as to the course of the section, kind of the special test, regulations or
evaluation. Exclusively the head of the rally or the authorised persons can answer such
questions.
The Orga helpers are responsible only for the time assessment and control of the drive flow.

They do not necessarily come from the motor sport environment and have the relevant
knowledge or experience on the proper usage of the vehicles and aids. Because of these facts
the Orga helpers will not give any directions or help with the usage of the equipment like the
winch, the lifting-jack, the axe, etc.

Time assessment (transponder = obligatory deposit)

The time assessment will be carried out by the company Sportident with their own equipment
and personnel. Some questions refering to the time assessment will be answered at length
soon. Instead of the board card an USB stick will be introduced. The stick will be absolutelly
water and mud resistant, and will have to be held at the boxes with the transponder function at
each control point. The times will be saved both on the stick and on the box. Until now the
loss of the board card meant the disqualification. Now, for the case of such situation, each
participant will have a second stick. For each stick an obligatory deposit of 50 euro has to be
provided, which will be fully returned after giving back the intact stick.
Right after reaching the finish the time assessment will be positioned and the stick will be
checked with the vehicle. If the numbers of the stick and the vehicle agree the data will be
read.

Medical service, physical conditions
The event will be attended by medical doctors and emergency medical technicians. In the case
of a serious illness or an accident the persons will be taken to hospital, so please do not forget
to take your health insurance for abroad. Participants who take medicines permanently are
self-responsible for havng enough medicines. It's also recommended to take a board pharmacy
additionally to the first-aid-kit. The organiser takes no resposibility for the handling of the
medical service. Caution: permanent illnesses (allergies, diabetes, etc.) must be announced to
the medical service before the rally.

Each participant has to be aware of the state of his body and vehicle before they decide to
drive the stage. Each section, special test and each site that seems difficult has to be first
evaluated with one's own eyes or feet if the possibilities of the vehicle and driver are
adequate.

Some of the sites are not obligatory, i.e. they can be driven around. This may be followed by
possible time penalty or disqualification. Like before, it's important to exclude the
unnecessary risk. Health goes before the placement.

In the case of an injury or health troubles, that may be caused by the long-lasting exhaustive
conditions, the participant, on the basis of the disclaimer, discharges the doctors from the
patient confidentiality in order to protect other participants from the possible risk.

The responsible rally doctor can forbid the further participation in the event. The
organiser is bound to such decision as well as the participant.

Technical service
A technical service with mechanics for the emergency cases will be provided as well as the
tire service for the demounting of tires on site. Participants are asked to bring the necessary
parts like tubes, valves, and tires with them.

The rag picker truck will help the defected vehicles to get to the camp. It's allowed to have
your own technical service in the camp - not on the evaluated stages. Commercial services
that would like to sell their services to the participants are asked to get in touch with the
organiser.

Key card (included in the start price - remains the property of the participant)
Everyone on the rally will receive a key card. The card is as big as a credit card and replaces
the meal voucher. The card will be read at the control station in the catering tent. With the
card you will also be able to collect the roadbook at the infopoint. Another benefit of the key
card is that the ragpicker truck will be able to measure out through the system what vehicles
are stuck on the way and have to be helped. That's why all participants are asked to report at
the infopoint in the case of a rally breakup - to avoid unnecessary searching.

All participants, should they break up the stage, are asked to report to the infopoint
with their key card in order to avoid unnecessary searching.
Catering
In the price is included the following catering: the kitchen begins on Saturday evening with a
warm meal followed by breakfast on Sunday and lunch packet en route. The service ends with
dinner after the award ceremony. The kitchen offers also breakfast on Sunday for a small fee.

Caution: The catering doesn't include drinks. Each participant has to bring their own
cutlery and plates. Washing liquids will be available.

Sanitary facilities
It must be assumed that not during the whole event sanitary facilities will be available. If they
are there, they do not represent the western standard but that of an army camp.

The press
The press representatives will accompany the whole event. They will be recording and
making photos in the most interesting places, interviewing the participants in the camp and
making reportages. For the sake of the rally the press and participants should cooperate and
do not disturb each other in their jobs. The participants do not have any rights to the recorded
materials.

Sunday ban on crossing

7. Insurance
- PLEASE READ THE WHOLE PASSAGE CAREFULLY –

Despite the professional and safe accomplishment of the activities accidents can not be
excluded. The BRESLAU 2010 participants are insured by the organizer against certain risks
that are described later on.

The rally Dresden-Breslau consists in orientation racing that leads the participants to the one
finish point without any regulations as to the average velocity.

Some insurance companies refuse to cover the automobile liability in the case of a
participation in motor sport events. The grounds of the excluding from the insurance: ."A
participation in motor sport events is excluded from the insurance" - that means that without
the co-insurance of the organiser the participant is not insured!

The co-insurance of the organizer offers the following coverage:

   a. The auto liability co-insurance of the organizer offers the following coverage:
Insurance on the joining stages from Dresden to Poland The obligatory motorsports
liability co-insurance of the organizer offers to the participants the so called
"subsidiary coverage". Subsidiary coverage means that the motorsports liability
insurance is valid for the vehicles with their own auto liability insurance and whose
policy excludes the coverage of the participation in motor sport events.

       Background:
A participant with the German auto liability insurance is a part of the traffic on
the rules of their private auto liability insurance. However, it turned out that some
insurance companies refuse to cover the joining stages, because, as they reason, the
joining stages are between the assessment stages and thus remain a part of the motor
sport event. The co-insurance of the organiser covers exactly this case, i.e. the
participant receives the subsidiary coverage for the case if their own insurance
company should refuse to settle such claims.

       Exception:
A participant with other than the German auto liability insurance is a part of the
traffic on the rules of their private auto liability insurance that doesn't meet the
German minimum standards of the limit of indemnity. The limit of indemnity
complies with the German law, because the organizer is registered in Germany and
also in Germany closes all their contracts. For those persons the co-insurance of the
organizer assures the whole (primary) coverage without the care if their own insurance
meets the German minimum standards of the amount covered or not.

Insurance of the participants in the assessed stages.

Most insurance companies refuse to cover the active participation in motor sport
events. In such cases the co-insurance of the organizer assures the so called "primary
coverage" and offers the cover of 100%.

       Costs and limits of indemnity

The co-insurance of the organizer is obligatory. The cost of the co-insurance is 30 euro
       per vehicle.
The sums of the co-insurance of the rally automobile liability of the organiser are:
2,5 mln euro for the bodily injury each incident, but not more than
1,1 mln euro for one person
1,1 mln euro for material damage
100.000 euro for the financial damage

   b. Accident insurance for the driver and co-driver
The organizer assures the state basic range of insurance against accidents.
      Costs and limits of indemnity
The co-insurance of the organizer is obligatory. The cost of such insurance is 8 euro
      per person.

The sums of the insurance are:
7.669 euro for a case of death
15.339 euro for a case of disability

   c. Accident insurance for driver's assistants

The organizer assures the state basic range of insurance against accidents. The cost of
such insurance is 8 euro per person.

       Costs and limits of indemnity

The co-insurance of the organizer is obligatory. The cost of such insurance is 8 euro
       per person.

The sums of the insurance are:
7.669 euro for a case of death
15.339 euro for a case of disability

Important:

Within the organiser's liability insurance of the driver, co-driver, the vehicle holder or owner
between each other insured are only injuries to persons (not material damages) to the above
given limits that were caused by the intensional or grossly negligent behavior. Not insured
within the liability insurance are damages related to the special stages where highest velocity
or shortest drive times are assessed, or the practice stages.

Service vehicles are not treated as participants of the rally, also when they have all the
necessary rally labels, and thus they are not covered by the co-insurance of the organiser. The
insurance of service vehicles is a private matter of each participant.

The participants are obliged to check the validity of the liability insurance of all their vehicles
that take part in the rally BRESLAU.

Participants accept the special risk related to the motor sport and the civil responsibility. The
organiser recommends checking if your insurance includes the risk related to the motor sport,
especially in connection with an accident, medical care and the civil responsibility and, if
necessary, to extend the insurance.

Insurance of the vehicle and other items brought to the rally against e.g. theft, damage, etc. is
a private matter of each participant.
The validity of the co-insurance of the organiser begins with the entrance to the rally camp at
the beginning of the rally and ends with the official closing of the rally. The way to and from
the rally is not included in the insurance.

Despite the professional and safe accomplishment of the activities accidents can not be
excluded. Participants are not insured thoroughly by the organiser.

       participant.
Service vehicles that drive in the evaluation will be assessed like participants.
The above mentioned fees include VAT.

Service and accompanying vehicles (drivers' helpers)
(are all vehicles and persons that accompany the participants)
All accompanying persons receive a service roadbook in which, beside the everyday
way to the camp, also some highlights of the rally route are marked for the photo or
       film purposes.

VAT is included in the participation fee and will be separatelly displayed in the
       invoice.

       vehicles incl. 1 person and trailer < 7,5 t 500 euro

       vehicles incl. 1 person and trailer > 7,5 t 560 euro

       each person more 450 euro

post nomination fee for not registered persons
caught in a control 600 euro

The vehicle whose service or company personnel will be caught without registration
and key card receives 30 minutes penalty. If the person accompanies more vehicles,
the fastest vehicle in the team will receive the penalty. It's not fair to the other
participants to use the services of the organiser without paying for them!

We ask for understanding that, like in the former years, it will be more controlled if all
persons are registered. The more persons are present at the rally, the more area has to be
hired, the more showers and toilets have to be provided, bigger medical and technical
expenses (e.g. kitchen) have to be covered. Because of all these reasons it's indispensible to
conduct controlls. We ask for understanding and assistance for the Orga that conducts the
control. Only if each participant cooperates it's possible to keep the participation fee under
control. In the price are included: the participation fee, catering, a roadbook, a key card,
technical companion and medical service, the costs of the time assessment, the costs of the
Sunday ban on crossing (if registerd in time) and the DVD Breslau 2010.

11. Evaluation
The evaluation of each stage will be announced through the roadbook or on the meeting.
Assessed will be the time that a vehicle needs to drive a given stage. The biggest assessed
entity is an hour, the smallest - a second. Assessed will also be the time that is needed as an
assessment criterion for a special test or a driven section beween two control points. The
times will be saved on the received transponders and on the control boxes at each start, finish
or CP. Each participant is responsible for submitting the transponder to the reading after
reaching the finish. Only those assessments will be considered that have been submitted until
max. 1 hour after closing the stage. The length and duration of each stage will be announced
in the roadbook or at the meeting. In the case of a stage breakup the organiser must be
informed.

At all times the referee committee can make a separate decision.
To the real drive time come no penalties
- when the participant starts on time (also the inter starts)
- when all CPs have been passed in the proper direction
- when all finish lines have been passed (not necessarily on one's own, can also be with the
help of a band)

Time penalty

Loss of a transponder or late submission to the reading:
If after one hour after reaching the finish the transponder will not be submitted to the reading
the stage counts as not driven. In the case of a loss of the first USB stick the second one can
be used.

Omission of one CP:

2 hours penalty for each CP - if no special regulation is given in the roadbook or at the
meeting

Exceeding the maximal time:

2 h penalty + the exceeded time

Underrunning the minimal time:

2 h penalty + the underrun time

Delayed arrival on the start:

Who arrives too late at the start or the internal start ( the times will be given according to the
results of the former day) receives 15 min. penalty + the delay.

Ignoring the particularities given in the roadbook:

e.g. the no passing, speed limits, leaving the route, etc.
according to the kind of violation 15 to 100 min.

Not registered vehicles or persons:

30 min. penalty for the fastest vehicle in the team for a not registered vehicle or person

Driving without the helmet:
30 min. penalty for the fastest vehicle in the team if in the camp enduros, quads or other are
driven without a helmet.

Driving an accompanying vehicle off the normal route:
30 min. penalty for the fastest vehicle in the team if their accompanying vehicle drives off the
normal route

Other:

without the tree-protective band, washing the vehicle in the camp or next to the camp, and
also for the purposeful destroying the nature and camping outside the marked area.

Stage brakeup
A stage counts as broken up if the participant or the team resigns or the finish is not reached.
The penalty is 2 h plus the time of the last assessed participant (i.e. the time of the last
participant with all his penalties). At least one CP must be passed.
A stage counts as not driven if the participant or the team don't start or just start and pass none
of the CPs. Passing the finish line is not valid if none of the CPs has been passed. The penalty
is 4 h plus the time of the last assessed participant.
In the case of a resignation of a participant the organiser must be informed.
Money penalty

Due to the fact that the payments for the destroyed areas grow systematically, all the service
or company vehicles that drive off the marked route will be charged for the damages.

Also the costs of the unnecessary search actions will be carried to the account of the team, so
please report to the infopoint with your key card after arrival in te camp (in the case of
technical defects).

The team receives 600 euro penalty additionally to the time penalty for not registered persons.

Drive regulations / breach of the rules

Participants are obliged to obey during the whole event the directions of the organiser and
their personnel. Should a participant ignore the directions of the orga staff the organiser can
administer time penalties or, in extrem situations, a disqualification or elimination from the
rally

Disqualification

The disqualification will be administered for irresponsible racing at the join stages or in the
camp. For driving off the marked route, drivng the stage beyond the assessment and repeated
violation of the organiser's regulations.

Change of the co-driver without the consent of the organiser is not allowed.

Participants are responsible for their service and accompanying vehicles and can be
disqualified when their service vehicle or accompanying persons drive the stage or terrain
without permission.

Driving motorcycles or quads or similar without helmet.

Participants are responsible for their service and accompanying persons.

The participant can be disqualified or receive 1 hour penalty for:
- manipulations at the time assessment system
- manipulations at the vehicle after the acceptance test, e.g. registration relevant changes
- irresponsible and careless driving and endangering other persons
- not allowed help
- driving without the necessary safety devices and mandatory equipment

Elimination from the rally / Ban from the premises

The organiser has the right to exclude the participant from the rally for inappropriate
behaviour towards the orga, population or military representatives.

Protests, complaints, reclamations
Protests against the decisions of the organiser are not allowed. Reclamations of the erroneous
time assessment must be reported in the evening after the stage, 1 hour after announcing the
results at the latest.

Protests against other participants suspected of regulations' violation or manipulations are
allowed. They must be reported in the evening after the stage, 1 hour after announcing the
results at the latest. The protest fee is 200 euro and has to be paid in bar on site. If the protest
turns out to be right, the fee will be fully returned. The decision will be taken by the head of
the organiser after hearing all sides. An appeal against the decision of the organiser is not
possible.

12. Advertisement of the sponsors
Participants are obliged to attach the labels with the advertisements of the rally sponsors on
their vehicles according to the given plan. It is possible to avoid this obligation with making a
double participation fee. Private advertisement is possible only with the consent of the
organiser.

13. Safety instructions, safety regulations and
environmentfriendly regulations

General information

During the whole event the participants are obliged to respect the authority of the organiser
and their personnel. The organiser stresses clearly that all participants are bound to behave
disciplined and to obey the directions of the orga staff. During the whole event exists the
absolute prohibition of drinking alcohol (BAL 0,0) and using drugs.

Keeping the above regulations is essential to ensure the safety during the event. In the case of
violating these regulations the organiser has the right to exclude the participant from the rally
without further warning. The participation fee will not be returned.

It's essential for the participation in the rally to be in a good physical condition. The
participant is obliged to inform the organiser about health problems. It's forbidden to take part
in the rally under the influence of alcohol, drugs, and psychotropic’s or similar.

Each participant is aware of the fact that the rally takes place in a difficult terrain, under
unforeseeable weather conditions and, what's connected, various road conditions. The speed
of the vehicle should be adjusted to the state and possibilities of the vehicle and skills of the
driver for the sake of the safety of all participants.

Individual underestimation of one's driving experience, defects of the vehicle caused by the
accident or the fatigue of the material, unfair behaviour and ignoring the advices given in the
regulations as to the safe handling with the winch are the most frequent causes of accidents,
sometimes even deadly.

It is strongly recommended to control the state of the vehicle every day. Each participant has
to be aware of the state of his body and vehicle before they decide to drive the stage. Each
section, special test and each site that seems difficult has to be first evaluated with one's own
eyes or feet if the possibilities of the vehicle and driver are adequate.
Some of the sites are not obligatory, i.e. they can be driven around. This may be followed by
possible time penalty or disqualification. Like before, it's important to exclude the
unnecessary risk. Health goes before the placement.

Due to the length of the rally and the stages, problems with the concentration at some points
are unavoidable. We discourage to continue driving despite physical troubles or vehicle
defects.

We ask each participant to report to the infopoint in the case of a stage breakup to avoid
unnecessary search actions.

It's forbidden to drive under the influence of alcohol or other exhilarating mediums!

It's mandatory to use helmets and safety belts.

Each open vehicle must be equipped with an attached roll cage. We recommend to attach a
roll cage also at the closed vehicles.

All parts of the vehicle must be firmly fixed to the vehicle so that they do not endanger the
passengers or the viewers.

Please take a special notice of little children and other viewers.

It's not allowed to transport plastic canisters in the cabin, we recommend to wear fireproof
clothes, it's mandatory to have an extinguisher (one in a car, two in a truck).

Trespassing the camp area can be dangerous.

The obligatory speed in the camp is 6km/h!

Despite the careful and thorough control of the roadbooks it's always possible that a mistake
creeps in. It may happen that a foreign vehicle drives against the flow, the crossed main roads
will not be closed off, etc.

The event takes place in a military area. Deviations from the roadbook may lead to the closed
areas that are actively used. Each participant is responsible for staying on the route and
avoiding shortcuts.

Infos about the usage of the winch

Here you can find some hints of the popular winch producers and experienced co-drivers.

How strong winch do I need?
The pulling force of the winch should be at least 1,5 times bigger than the total weight of the
vehicle. Pulling force = lifting force, i.e. the vertical force.

Fixing the winch
It's recommended to use typical montage systems offered by the winch sellers. Individual constructions must be
relevant to the pulling force. The same relates also to the endings of the tow lug, hooks, and shackles.
Do not use the tow hook as a fixing point of the winch! They are usually adjusted to the rolling load of 3,5 t, and
not to a winch of 4 t pulling force that with a pulley block holds out a load of 8 t!
While using the pulley block do not fix the rope to the fixing of the winch, but to the hook
destined to pull the car!

Winch accessories
In order to fix a winch safely and efficiently you need the following devices:
a) leather work gloves, rubberised inside
b) hook bands are useful while unrolling and furling the rope of the winch
c) two tree-protective bands 2 meter for attaching the lashing cleat or pulley block to the fixing point
d) two shackles of good quality, the U or omega shape. Use only the shackles that fulfil the
norms of the adequate strength.
e) the pulley block to double the traction force, protect the engine of the winch and better use of the fixing point

Basic rules:
Read carefully the handbook of the winch and store it in your vehicle.
a) stay calm, handle intended and sensible!
b) check carefully the fixing point (trees, hooks at the pulling vehicle, etc.)!
c) put on the gloves!
d) remove persons from the reach range of the rope!
e) never touch the strained rope!
f) never use the winch rope for towing!
g) never prolong the rope with elastic bands! The whiplash effect!
h) during the maximal strain of the line pull the bonnet up to protect the driver, hang some
sweaters or jackets on the rope.
i) during a side pulling turn the front wheels in the driving direction! Otherwise the tire may get off the rim.
j) rely on your knowledge and realise the responsibility. In doubt ask other participants for help - they'll certainly
help you gladly.

Using the winch
Your vehicle is stuck and you have to use your winch
a) choose the nearest fixing point
b) swich your winch on the idle, fix the ropes to the hook
c) put on the gloves and put the protective band around the tree (possibly low). Join the ends
of the band with a shackle
d) hang the rope up the band around the tree with a shackle (5 layers of the line must always
remain on the winch!!!)
e) swich off the idle running, strain the line slightly!
f) check if other persons do not stand in the reach of the line!
g) sit behind the wheel with the winch remote control and start the engine
h) furl the line; you can help the winch a little with your car but avoid rapid and strong pulling
movements backwards
i) stop the action every now and then to spare the winch engine and the battery. No "better
knowing" viewer will pay you back for the burnt winch!!
j) when the vehicle regains the run leave the engine on and pull the hand brake
k) loosen the rope and free it from the fixing point, put on the gloves and furl the rope evenly.
Pay attention to the rope so that it doesn't slide on the gloves, it's better to catch it repeatedly.

Using the pulley block
The pulley block is used to protect the winch against overloading, to pull out other vehicles or
obstacles in the way, etc. The pulley block doubles the strength of the winch. Do not fix the
rope to the fixing point of the winch but to the hook. The fixing point of the winch is not
adjusted to hold the double load!

Maintenance of the winch
Check if the winch does not have some ruptures or other defects, exchange the defected rope!
Always roll the line carefully, slightly tensed, clean it and oil.
Check te state of the protective bands, shackles, hooks and fixing points of the winch!
Having driven through the water check the functioning, corroded relay and mildew are the
main reason of defects.
Connectors of the remote control preserve with a spray for the electric connections.

Tips & tricks
5 layers of the rope must always remain on the winch, the best way is to stick them to the
winch with a special band. Always have 3 clamps for joining ropes, if a hook falls off, you'll be able to fix it on
site. It's good to have battery booster cable and distillatory water with you. Do not tighten the shackle very
strongly, it's better to leave half a rotation back - it saves you from using the gripper later. Rubberised gloves do
not go in pieces as fast as the leather ones in mud and water.

Good to know
If you want to buy a winch pay attention to the lifting force! Some sellers advertise 15 t of pulling force.
However, that refers to the rolling weight on a smooth surface! At the protective and towing bands a breaking
force is given. Divide it through 7, and, according to the DIN norm, only 500 kg of working force usually
remains. Different types of bands usually have 7-time safety. That means that a band with the 3 t of the working
load takes 21 t of the breaking load!
Be careful with the no-name shackles. Shackles that fulfill the DIN norms have a number
pressed on them and cost little more!
The capacitance of the steel rope depends much on its structure. Not every steel rope can be used with a winch.
While exchanging the rope never diminish its diameter!
In the case when more that one vehicle use a winch next to each other all are obliged to be specially careful so
that nobody gets hurt and that the ropes do not cross. Persons who stand within the reach of the winch rope must
be asked to step back. Otherwise do not start the winch!!

Environment-friendly regulations

Mandatory is keeping all the appropriate regulations related to the protection of the nature,
especially to the contact with fuel and grease. All participants are obliged to avoid polluting.
All abatements, packaging, changed spare parts as well as old tires, empty oil and dye tins,
batteries, etc. must not be left on the site. Old oil must be collected and thrown in a special
container.
