A host of Hollywood media were reporting
that Parker, 46, would play Steinem in the
film about late porn icon Linda Lovelace,
w h o s t a r r e d i n t h e 1 9 7 2 f i l m “Deep
Throat.”
Moore, 49, backed out of the project after
her reps said she was rushed to a Los
Angeles hospital because of “exhaustion”
Monday night.
The friends and family who were with her
told a dispatcher Moore had smoked
something “similar to incense” and that she was shaking, convulsing and burning up.
One caller told the dispatcher that Moore had been “having issues lately,” possibly referring to her
crumbled marriage to 33-year-old actor Aston Kutcher.
Moore’s daughter with Bruce Willis, Rumer Willis, 23, appeared to have been with her because at
one point someone can be heard on the tape identifying her by her nickname “Ru.”
The casting change was made the day after Moore, who also starred in “G.I. Jane,” was rushed to
the hospital from her Beverly Hills home.
IF it's true that SJP is replacing Demi, that is a hard pill to swallow to lose to her the part. In the
area of LOOKS, SJP doesn't even come close to edging out Moore, but with all of her recent
whackiness, surely FOX could have done much better when selecting a replacement.
This is hard an "Ouch"--it's not even a headline quality story. More that shows that the Daily News
is trying to turn into the Post...
Age gracefully. Go away. Time has past. This is life, deal with it. The 80s are over. Ugghhh. Demi
Moore couldn't be more irrelevant.
