A strong application answers the questions
What is your research question?
Why is this idea worth doing?
Why are you the person to do it?
Things to remember
You do not need to confirm enrollment in Grad School at time of application.
Do not forget to sign and date your form.
Watch your page limits.
When SSHRC announces the results in the Spring, they’ll contact you first (in
writing) and then our office. SSHRC will not release results via email or phone.
We do not receive advance notice of the results, but we welcome your
questions or concerns.
Once you have received an MA SSHRC grant you are then eligible for a
Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement, if you are interested in a research
experience outside of Canada.
